Sndrome caracterizado por vmitos incoercibles, en
ausencia de causa orgnica, que produce
alteraciones metablicas y prdida de peso en la
mujer gestante .
EPIDEMIOLOGIA
Las nuseas y los vmitos del embarazo se dan con
mayor frecuencia en las primeras 12 semanas de
gestacin y, suelen remitir definitivamente hacia las
20 semanas

Hemograma y estudio de coagulacin.
Pruebas hepticas (En casos graves, se puede
encontrar un aumento de la urea, del cido rico, de
la creatinina y de la osmolaridad: los niveles de
transaminasas hepticas estn elevados en el 15-25
% de los casos de hipermesis gravdica)

Antiemticos va oral o rectal:
Metoclopramida: 10mg/8h vo.
Doxilamina+vit B6(piridoxina): 1comprimido/8h vo.
Ondansetron: 4-8mg/8h vo.
