INTRODUCCION
Usted ha adquirido el sistema “DiamondTip” y le agradecemos su confianza. Actualmente es posible
utilizar este sistema, más moderno, seguro, económico y efectivo para realizar la microdermoabrasión.
Tan sólo adaptando el sistema “DiamondTip” con la succión o vacío de su equipo, se logra un efecto de
microexfoliación al deslizar suavemente las puntas con finísimos diamantes sobre la piel, evitándose así
todos los inconvenientes del uso de cristales de óxido de aluminio y de las sustancias químicas.

VENTAJAS
 DURABILIDAD: Garantizamos 200-250 microdermoabrasiones por punta “DiamondTip”.
 CONTROL: Combinando puntas con distintos diámetros de partículas de diamantes (50, 75, 100, 150 y
200 micrones) junto a variaciones en la intensidad de vacío del equipo y número de pasadas, se logra una
exfoliación controlada, suave y segura.
 HIGIENE: Las puntas de diamante pueden ser desinfectadas con líquidos desinfectantes, estufas, equipos
de ultrasonido o esterilizadas en autoclave.

ARMADO DEL KIT DIAMOND TIP

1. Conectar la pieza de mano en el extremo distal de la tubuladura de succión del equipo de vacío.
2. Roscar el regulador de vacío en el extremo distal de la pieza de mano. Este dispositivo permite
ajustar el vacío oprimiendo/liberando el orificio presente en dicha pieza con el dedo.
3. Sobre el extremo libre del regulador de vacío se puede colocar el adaptador angulado de 45°,
dependiendo si se quiere trabajar perpendicularmente al tejido o en 45°. Luego se enrosca una
punta de diamante ya sea de 50, 75, 100, 150 o 200 micrones de diámetro de diamantes,
dependiendo de la profundidad que se desee exfoliar.

Identificación de las puntas diamantadas

Las puntas diamantadas han sido codificadas mediante o’rings de colores con el objeto de facilitar su
identificación al momento de usarlas:

 50 micrones => O’ring Blanco

 75 micrones => O’ring Amarillo
 100 micrones => O’ring Naranja
 150 micrones => O’ring Verde
 200 micrones => O’ring Púrpura

RECOMENDACIONES PRE-TRATAMIENTO
1. Aplicar con los dedos una leve cantidad de crema o gel de limpieza y masajear en forma circular.
2. Retirar con una toalla húmeda tibia o con esponjas faciales humectadas y secar.
3. Planear tratamiento: hay 3 parámetros que pueden ser regulados para determinar la profundidad
de la exfoliación y que deben ser planificados antes de comenzar la sesión.

a. Tamaño y diamantado de la punta a utilizar

b. Intensidad de vacio
c. Numero de pasadas por cada zona
4. Recomendamos comenzar con puntas de diamante delicadas y con poca presión de vacío.
5. Hacer una prueba en la parte interna del antebrazo antes de proceder sobre la cara.
6. Si durante el tratamiento se cambia la punta por una de mayor diámetro de diamantes, se
recomienda disminuir la intensidad de vacío.

TRATAMIENTO
1. Una vez planificados los parámetros que regulan la profundidad de exfoliación, se procederá a
regular la intensidad de succión o vacío del equipo de microdermoabrasión, dependiendo de la
profundidad que se desee exfoliar. Esta presión de vacío controla la presión de la superficie
diamantada de las puntas sobre la piel a exfoliar. Para comenzar recomendamos utilizar las puntas
de 50, 75 ó 100 micrones y una presión inicial bien baja, luego ir incrementando paulatinamente en
caso de desear mayor agresividad. Para aquellos casos en que se procura alcanzar mayor
profundidad de exfoliación, recomendamos utilizar las puntas de 150 ó 200 micrones y mayor
presión.
2. Se trabaja deslizando la punta suavemente sobre la piel a tratar. Se pueden realizar varias
pasadas por la misma región siempre dependiendo de la profundidad que se desee exfoliar. El
resultado es una exfoliación precisa, uniforme, suave, segura y discreta.
3. Para el tratamiento de la cara se recomienda dividirla en 4 secciones a saber:
 FRENTE: pasar la punta desde la ceja hacia el inicio del cuero cabelludo, en sentido horizontal.
Repetir hasta conseguir la exfoliación deseada. Luego pasar en sentido vertical.
 REGIÓN MEDIA (nariz, mejillas y labio superior): comenzar desde afuera hacia adentro con
pasadas verticales y cruzarlas con pasadas horizontales. Trabajar sobre la nariz de arriba hacia
abajo y sobre el labio superior en sentido horizontal. Para el tratamiento de las líneas finas y
arrugas hacer pasadas verticales y cruzarlas con horizontales. No pasar sobre el labio
propiamente dicho.
 BARBILLA (labio inferior y mandíbula): realizar pasadas verticales desde el labio hacia el
mentón y luego cruzar con pasadas horizontales.
 PERIORBITARIA: suele ser la última región a tratar y se recomienda NO utilizar vacío, solo
deslizar la punta sobre el contorno del ojo, de manera suave. Nunca tratar áreas dentro de la
cavidad ocular ni sobre el párpado superior.
4. En todos los casos conviene que la piel esté tensa, por lo que se recomienda ayudarse con la otra
mano y tensar la piel al mismo tiempo que se realizan las pasadas.
5. Para el tratamiento del cuello se recomienda utilizar baja presión de vacío con el fin de no dejar
marcas. Utilizar pasadas horizontales partiendo desde el centro hacia el lateral
6. Para el tratamiento del escote se recomienda también utilizar baja presión y realizar pasadas
horizontales cruzadas con verticales
7. Para el tratamiento del dorso de las manos se recomiendan cruzar pasadas verticales con
horizontales.
8. Finalmente, si hubiera áreas en cualquiera de las regiones, con cicatrices, arrugas,
hiperpigmentaciones, etc., recomendamos tratarlas al final de la exfoliación general y trabajar
cada una de estas áreas con la punta y la presión correspondiente.

RECOMENDACIONES POST-TRATAMIENTO
1. Luego de terminada la microdermoabrasión, recomendamos enjuagar el área tratada con algún
agente de limpieza calmante y compresas frías. Se puede colocar una máscara calmante y compresas
frías y dejarla 10 / 15 minutos.
2. Remover los productos con toallas frías.
3. Aplicar crema humectante (mejor si es hipoalergénica) y protector solar (SPF 15-30).
4. Evitar los productos que contienen alfa-hidroxi-ácidos, ácido salicílico o retin-A por al menos 24
horas.
5. El maquillaje puede ser habitualmente utilizado de manera inmediata, aunque es conveniente
lucir un color natural por 24 horas.

LIMPIEZA Y TRATAMIENTO
Recomendamos limpiar todos los componentes del kit como se indica a continuación, posterior
desinfección y esterilización de sus partes:

Limpieza y desinfección
Para la limpieza de estas partes recomendamos:

1. Sumergir las partes en algún detergente enzimático durante el tiempo recomendado por cada
fabricante y limpiar con los cepillos incluidos en el kit bajo agua caliente hasta desprender todo
posible material orgánico adherido.
2. Volver a sumergir en líquido desinfectante el tiempo recomendado por el fabricante.
3. Limpiar, cambiar, lavar, descartar los filtros y tubuladuras del equipo de succión que esté utilizando,
siguiendo los parámetros recomendados por el fabricante.

Esterilización
1. La pieza de mano, el adaptador de 45°, las puntas de diamante y el regulador de vacío pueden ser
esterilizados en autoclave a 135° C por 5 minutos.

INTRODUCTION
You have purchased the “DiamondTip” system and we appreciate your confidence. At present, it is
possible to use this modern, economic, effective and safest system to perform the microdermabrasion.
Just adapting the “DiamondTip” system with the suction or vacuum of your equipment, you achieve a
micro-exfoliating action by smoothly sliding the fine encrusted diamond tips on the skin, thus avoiding
all the troubles of using aluminum-oxide crystals and chemical substances.

ADVANTAGES
 DURABILITY: We ensure 200 to 250 microdermabrasions per “DiamondTip”.
 CONTROL: By combining different diameter diamondparticles (50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 microns)
and variations in the equipment vacuum intensity and number of applications, you achieve a
controlled, smooth and safe exfoliation.
 HYGIENE: The diamond tips may be disinfected with disinfectant solutions, stoves, ultrasound
equipments or sterilized by autoclave.

DIAMOND TIP KIT ASSEMBLY

1. Connect the hand piece to the suction piping distal end of the vacuum equipment.
2. Thread the vacuum regulator onto the hand piece distal end. This device allows adjusting the
vacuum by pressing/releasing the orifice present in each piece with the finger.
3. The 45º angular adapter may be placed on the free end of the vacuum regulator, depending if you
want to work on the tissue either perpendicularly or at 45º. Then, thread a diamond tip of any
diamond diameter: 50, 75, 100, 150 or 200 microns, depending on the depth to be exfoliated.

Diamond Tips Identification

The diamond tips have been coded by means of color o-rings in order to enable their identification when
using them:

 50 microns => White O-ring

 75 microns => Yellow O-ring
 100 microns => Orange O-ring
 150 microns => Green O-ring

 200 microns => Purple O-ring

PRE - TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Apply a small quantity of cleansing cream or gel and massage in circles.
2. Remove with a warm wet towel or moist facial sponges and dry.
3. Plan treatment: there are 3 parameters that may be regulated to determine the exfoliation depth and
that must be planned before beginning the session.
a. Size and diamond diameter of the tip to be used
b. Vacuum intensity
c. Number of applications per area
4. It is recommended to start with delicate diamond tips and a slight vacuum pressure.
5. Test in the inner part of the forearm before proceeding to treat the face.

If during the treatment a tip is changed for a bigger diameter one, it is recommended to reduce the
vacuum intensity.

TREATMENT
1. Once the parameters that regulate the exfoliating intensity are planned, proceed to regulate the
suction or vacuum intensity of the microdermabrasion equipment, depending on the depth to be
exfoliated. This vacuum pressure controls the pressure of the diamond tips on the skin to be
exfoliated. To begin with the treatment, it is recommended to use the 50, 75 or 100 micron tips and a
very low initial pressure and then gradually increase it if you want more strength. For those cases
where you want to reach a greater depth, it is recommended to use the 150 or 200 micron tips
and a greater pressure.
2. Work by smoothly sliding the tip on the skin to be treated. You may perform different applications
over the same region, always depending on the depth to be exfoliated. The result is a precise,
consistent, smooth, safe and discrete exfoliation.
3. For facial treatment, it is recommended to divide the face in four parts, namely:
 FOREHEAD: pass the tip horizontally from the eyebrow towards the beginning of the scalp.
Repeat the operation until the desired exfoliation is achieved. Then pass it vertically.
 MEDIUM REGION (nose, chicks and upper lip): Start from the outside to the inside with vertical
applications and then cross horizontally. Work on the nose from the upper to the lower part and
horizontally on the upper lip. To treat the fine lines and wrinkles, perform vertical applications
and cross them with horizontal ones. Do not apply on the lip itself.
 CHIN (low lip and jaw): perform vertical applications from the lip towards the chin and then
cross horizontally.
 PRE-ORBITAL REGION: it is often the last region to treat and it is recommended NOT to use
vacuum, just smoothly slide the tip on the eye contour. Never treat areas within the eye cavity or
on the upper eyelid.
4. In all cases it is convenient to work on a stressed skin, thus it is recommended to use the other hand
to tense it at the same time the applications are performed.
5. For the neck treatment, it is recommended use a low vacuum pressure in order not to leave any
mark. Use horizontal applications starting from the centre towards the lateral.
6. For the neck base treatment, it is also recommended to use a low pressure and perform horizontal
applications crossed with vertical ones.
7. For the back of the hand treatment, it is recommended to cross vertical and horizontal applications.

8. Finally, if there were areas in any of the regions with scars, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentations, etc. it is
recommended to treat them at the end of the general exfoliation and to work on each of these areas
with the corresponding tip and pressure.

POST - TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Once the microdermabrasion is over, it is recommended to rinse the treated area with a calming
cleansing agent and cold soaks. You may apply a calming mask and cold soaks and leave them for 10
/ 15 minutes.
2. Remove the products with cold towels.
3. Apply a moisture cream (better if a hypoallergenic one) and solar protection (SPF 15-30).
4. Avoid the products containing alpha-hydroxy-acids, salicylic acid or retin-A at least for 24 hours.
5. The make-up may be normally used immediately, although it is convenient to show a natural color
for 24 hours.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

It is recommended to clean all the kit components as indicated below, as well as disinfecting and
sterilizing all its elements:

Cleaning and disinfection

In order to clean these pieces, it is recommended to:

1. Immerse the pieces in an enzymatic detergent during the time recommended by each manufacturer
2. Clean the brushes included in the kit with hot water until any possible adhered organic material is
removed.
3. Immerse again in disinfectant solution during the time recommended by the manufacturer
4. Clean, change, wash and discard the filters and piping of the suction equipment being used by
following the parameters recommended by the manufacturer.

Sterilization
1. The hand piece, the 45° adapter and the vac- uum regulator may be sterilized by autoclave at 135° C
during 5 minutes.
