¿Qué es
política?
Aristóteles: en su obra
"Política", Aristóteles define la
política como la ciencia que
se ocupa de la organización y
administración de la ciudad
(polis). Según él, la política
busca el bien común y la
virtud, y considera que el ser
humano es un "animal
político" por naturaleza.
Platón: En "La República",
Platón aborda la política a
través del diálogo entre
Sócrates y otros personajes.
Para él, la política ideal es
aquella en la que los
filósofos-gobernantes, los
"filósofos reyes", lideran la
sociedad, guiados por el
conocimiento y la sabiduría.
Maquiavelo: Nicolás
Maquiavelo, en su obra "El
Príncipe", da una perspectiva
más pragmática y realista de la
política. Define la política como
el arte de gobernar,
enfocándose en la toma de
decisiones efectivas para el
mantenimiento del poder y la
estabilidad del Estado.
John Locke: Locke, en su
obra "Segundo Tratado sobre
el Gobierno Civil", defiende la
idea del contrato social y la
separación de poderes. Para
él, la política tiene como
objetivo principal la
protección de los derechos
naturales, como la vida, la
libertad y la propiedad.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau:
Rousseau, en "El Contrato
Social", plantea que la política
es la expresión de la voluntad
general de la comunidad. Su
enfoque está en la soberanía
popular y el contrato social,
donde los individuos ceden
parte de su libertad en aras del
bien común.
Thomas Hobbes: En "Leviatán",
Hobbes describe la política como
la creación de un contrato social
para evitar el caos y la anarquía.
Para él, la autoridad política es
necesaria para mantener el orden
y evitar el estado de naturaleza,
que considera como un estado de
guerra de todos contra todos.
Actividad
Buscar un artículo que hable sobre
los fundamentos de la filosofía
política de Foucault, imprimirlo,
leerlo y hacer un resumen para
luego hacer tu propia definición de
política.
