FUTUROS

1. Presente simple: con horarios (medios de transporte) o programas

(cine, pelis)
The film starts at 9 /// My train leaves at 10 pm

2. Presente continuo: para planes ya fijados que ocurrirán en un

futuro próximo. Expresa algo seguro porque ya tiene fecha, y es
obligatorio que aparezca alguna expresión temporal. I’m going to
the dentist tomorrow

3. Be going to + v. infinitive

- Para planes o intenciones futuras (I’m going to paint the house)

- Para predicciones basadas en alguna evidencia porque se ven

indicios (She’s going to have a baby)

4. Will + infinitivo:
- para predicciones basadas en opiniones personales (sin
pruebas)
I think it will rain tomorrow
- Para expresar decisiones repentinas.
It’s hot in here. I’ll open the window
- Para hacer promesas y ofrecimientos
I will write to you every day.
- ***NUNCA SE UTILIZA PARA PLANES***

5. Futuro continuo: (will be + verbo en ing)

Para hablar de lo que estará ocurriendo en un momento
determinado del futuro .
At 5 pm tomorrow I will be doing my driving test.

6. Futuro perfecto: (will have + past participle)

Para hablar de acciones que habrán terminado en un futuro.
By June I will have finished high school.
