Reglas para la olimpiada de deletreo en Inglés 2023

1. El Juez principal seleccionará una palabra aleatoria a través de una ruleta

electrónica. El mismo procederá inmediatamente a pronunciarla y dar una
oración en contexto.

2. El participante comienza pronunciando la palabra, la deletrea y vuelve a

pronunciar la palabra.

3. Antes de comenzar a deletrear, el participante puede pedir que se repita la

palabra o la oración para clarificar antes de deletrearla.

4. El Juez principal tendrá la responsabilidad de pedir al participante que

pronuncie la palabra al principio o al final de la palabra dada a deletrear.

Sincronización:

_Los concursantes dispondrán de 30 segundos para deletrear una palabra dada.

_ El tiempo para deletrear la palabra comenzará a cronometrarse al momento en

que el participante inicia el deletreo.

_Si el participante no deletrea la palabra dentro del período de 30 segundos; el

cronometrador le recordará el tiempo transcurrido. El participante que incumpla
estas normas será descalificado.

Retrocediendo:
1. Habiendo comenzado a deletrear una palabra, un estudiante puede detenerse y
comenzar de nuevo, volviendo a comenzar desde el principio.

2. Si se cambia alguna letra y/o su secuencia en el deletreo, el estudiante quedará

descalificado.

Spelling Bee Rules for the Regional, District and Schools Contest
1. The bee master will select a random word through an electronic
roulette wheel and will immediately proceed to pronounce it and give
a sentence according to the context.

2. The participant will begins by articulating the word, spells it, and
articulate it the word again.

3. Before starting to spell, the participant can ask for the word to be
repeated for clarification before spelling it.

4. The Spelling Bee Master will be responsible for asking the

contestant to pronounce the word at the beginning or end of the given
word to spell.

Synchronization:

_The contestants will have 30 seconds to spell a given word.

_ The elapsed time to spell the word will start timing at the moment
the participant starts spelling.

_If the participant does not spell the word within the 30 seconds
period; the timekeeper will remind him/her of the elapsed time. The
participant who violates any of these rules will be disqualified.

Retracting:

1. Having started to spell a word, a participant can stop and start over,
starting all over again from the beginning.

2. If any letter in the word sequence have being changed in the

spelling, participant will be disqualified.
