• La tarea más importante de un posicionador sigue siendo mover la válvula a la

posición deseada lo más rápida y exactamente posible como respuesta a la orden del
.sistema de control de proceso.

• Sin embargo las ventajas adicionales de los

posicionadores SAMSON tipo 3730; han mejorado
considerablemente el control de procesos en las plantas,
así mismos reducen el tiempo entre fallas y son capaces
de evitarlas, con un concepto llamado diagnostico de
válvulas.



• Todos los parámetros de este diagnostico se pueden leer o escribir utilizando

. los comandos HART o archivos DD, FDT/DTM. Obviamente, lo mismo aplica
para otros métodos de comunicación como FOUNDATION FIELDBUS y
PROFIBUS PA.



. SAMSON ha desarrollado el Software TROVIS VIEW como interface para la

comunicación directa con los posicionadores a través de un puerto serie; a
partir de la versión 3.6 este software es gratuito, de esta forma los usuarios
evitan los excesivos costos que otros fabricantes de posicionadores,
comercializan programas de similares características.



En Diagnosis\ Status messages\ , El

diagnostico del posicionador genera
avisos de estados, Estandar (Estado,
Operación, Hardware, Inicialización,
Memoria de parámetros, Temperatura)

Para poder realizar un análisis correcto de

los datos de diagnóstico es necesario que el
posicionador esté inicializado. También es
necesario especificar como es el cierre del
vástago, el tipo de accionamiento y si va
equipado con un amplificador (Booster).



El test de carrera parcial (PST)

es especialmente adecuado
para el reconocimiento de
fallos en válvulas con
accionamiento neumático.
Como resultado, la
probabilidad de fallo a
demanda (PFD) se puede
reducir y se pueden ampliar
los intervalos de
mantenimiento. De esta
forma, se puede prevenir el
bloqueo de una válvula que se
encuentre normalmente en su
posición final. El registro del
test facilita el análisis del
comportamiento dinámico de


