DETECCIÓN DE CORONAVIRUS TIPO SARS COV 2 POR PCR NEGATIVO PCR

METODO: REACCION EN CADENA DE LA POLIMERASA EN TIEMPO REAL (qRT-PCR)

ENSAYO: Método de extracción de ARN automatizada por perlas magnéticas.
MUESTRA: Hisopado nasofaríngeo /orofaríngeo

AMPLIFICACIÓN Y DETECCIÓN: RT-PCR multiplex (reacción en cadena de la polimerasa con transcriptasa inversa en
tiempo real) para la detección simultánea de 4 genes diana del virus SARS-CoV-2: gen RdRP, gen N específicos
para SARS-CoV-2 y el gen E para todos los Sarbecovirus, incluido SARS-CoV-2 y el Gen S que mejora la
especificidad de este estudio.

Este ensayo no presenta reacción cruzada con otros virus humanos respiratorios comunes como: CoV NL63, 229E,
HKU, OC43 o MERS.

SENSIBILIDAD: 98.2 % (90.3 - 100%) y ESPECIFICIDAD de: 100% (94.9 - 100%)

INTERVALOS DE REFERENCIA: Se considera positivo un resultado en el que se detecte un gen específico para sars-
cov2 (N-gen o RdRP) o la combinación de dos genes incluido el E-gen. Este resultado debe ser considerado como
ayuda diagnóstica y correlacionarse con los datos clínicos del paciente.
LÍMITE DE DETECCIÓN: 4 copias ARN/ reacción

METHOD: REAL-TIME POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION FOR SARS COV 2

Extraction method: Automated extraction using magnetic beads. Amplification and Detection: RT-PCR multiplex
(real- time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction) for detection Simultaneous 4 target genes of the
SARS-CoV-2 virus: RdRP gene, N gene specific for SARS-CoV-2 and E gene for all sars cov viruses, including SARS-
CoV-2 and the S Gene enhancing the specificity of this study.
This assay is not cross-reactive with other common human respiratory viruses such as: CoV NL63, 229E, HKU, OC43
or MERS. It has a sensitivity of 98.2 % and specificity of 100%.

Observations: A result in which a specific gene for sars-cov2 (Ngen or RdRP) or the combination of two genes
including the E-gene is detected is considered positive. This result should be considered as help diagnostic and
correlate with the patient's clinical data.
Limit of detection of the method: 4 copies ARN / reaction
