Show a programmable robot and briefly describe how it works and what
each button does. Look at instructions on Teacher’s book.
1 Look at the robot and tell a classmate how each button works. Paste the 5
stickers on each controlling button.
3 Observe the orientation of the robots, practice the positions with the help 7
of a partner and then join each robot with its corresponding command.
Color them when finished.
4 Look at the meaning of the commands and paste the command stickers 8
to move forward only. Cross out Go buttons.
5 Using a yellow coloring pencil, draw the guides that move to the right. 9
Next, draw the guides that move to the left using a blue coloring pencil.
6 Draw the guides that move forward in green and color the arrows. Draw 10
the guides that move in reverse in red and color the arrows.
7 Juan likes playing with a ball. Help him color the one on his left side. But he 11
does not like the skates that are on his right. Help him cross them out.
8 Observe the image and draw the dotted lines. Then, count the frames the 12
robot has to travel in each route: first towards the squirrel and butterfly;
then, towards the bear and the rabbit.
When finished, paste the stickers that correspond to the final numbers.
9 a) Look at the robot above and, using a red coloring pencil, cross out 13
the boxes that the robot must travel to get to the whale and then
the island. Count out loud.
b) Look at the robot below. Using a blue coloring pencil, cross out the
boxes that the robot must travel to reach the ship and then the
submarine. Count out loud.
10 Observe the direction of the arrows and color blue those that indicate 14
going in reverse and yellow those that indicate going forward.
11 Color the numbers with the indicated codes so you can find the 15
secret image.
12 Using a yellow coloring pencil, cross out the arrow that indicates a left 16
turn. Draw a green circle around the arrow that indicates a right turn.
Color both arrows as you like.
13 Help the robot get where the deer is. Trace the path that it must travel 17
and then paste the stickers of the right commands.
14 Observe the direction of the cars and color red those that indicate a left 18
turn and blue those that indicate a right turn.
15 Draw the two robot paths to get to the island and the wave. Then, count 19
the boxes that it advanced in each one and trace the numbers.
17 Help the robot reach the octopus, following the path indicated by the 21
commands. Paste the command stickers in the same order.
18 The sea animals swim in different directions. Observe them and join each 22
one with the corresponding command.
19 Help the robot reach the last letter in each journey by crossing out the 23
letters and counting the boxes out loud; then, draw the number.
20 Paste the command stickers so that the robot reaches the planet. 24

9 a) Observa el robot de arriba y tacha con rojo los cuadros que debe 13
recorrer para llegar a la ballena y después a la isla. Cuenta en voz
alta.
b) Observa el robot de abajo y tacha con azul los cuadros que debe
recorrer el robot para llegar al barco y después al submarino.
Cuenta en voz alta.
11 Colorea los números con los códigos que se indican para que 15
encuentres la imagen secreta.
14 Observa el sentido de los coches y colorea de rojo los que indican girar 18
a la izquierda y de azul los que indican girar a la derecha.
15 Traza los dos recorridos del robot para llegar a la isla y a la ola. Después, 19
cuenta los cuadros que avanzó en cada uno y traza los números.
16 De acuerdo con la dirección que tienen los animales, une cada uno con 20
los comandos de control correspondientes.
