Resumen

La investigación tiene como título influencia de la segregación académica y cultural de las

comunidades afro-diásporicas en la educación superior, tiene como descripción del
problema las prácticas discriminatorias hacia la población afro porque se evidenció un bajo
índice de estas en las IES, su objetivo general es Analizar las razones principales que
influyen en la segregación académica y cultural de la comunidad afro- diásporica en las
instituciones de educación superior. Cuyo diseño seleccionado fue el método
fenomenológico, la participación de la comunidad y del investigador, contribuirá al buen
desarrollo del objetivo general. El proyecto mencionado se encuentra en ejecución, los
resultados obtenidos aportan a que el objetivo general se cumpla en su totalidad, dichos
resultados están siendo analizados por la autora, se espera que el trabajo realizado por la
investigadora en conjunto con la tutora, que ha sido portadora de conocimientos teóricos
para el desarrollo de dicha investigación sea reconocido.

Abstract

The research has as its title the influence of academic and cultural segregation of the afro-
diasporic communities in higher education, it has as a description of the problem the
discriminatory practices towards the afro population because it was evidenced a low index
of these in the IES, its general objective is to analyze the main reasons that influence the
academic and cultural segregation of the afro-diasporic community in the institutions of
higher education. Whose selected design was the phenomenological method, the
participation of the community and the researcher will contribute to the good development
of the general objective. The aforementioned project is in execution, the results obtained
contribute to the total fulfillment of the general objective, these results are being analyzed
by the author, it is expected that the work done by the researcher together with the tutor,
who has been the bearer of theoretical knowledge for the development of this research, will
be recognized.
