27 CHARCOS DE DAMAJAGUA

La mayor atracción de Puerto Plata te ofrece un día de caminatas a través

de densos bosques, pasando por puentes y descubriendo numerosas
especies de flora, antes de llegar a la cima de una colina rocosa desde
donde empezará tu descenso ya sea saltando o deslizándote por una serie de
cascadas.

AIRPORT WALL

Un punto favorito en el área es el Airport Wall, considerado uno de los

mejores y más bellos lugares para bucear en República Dominicana.
Empieza a una profundidad de 10 metros y desciende hasta unos 30 metros,
es uno de los puntos de buceo más ricos en corales y vida marina, repleto
de pináculos y túneles.
ANFITEATRO LA PUNTILLA

Un impresionante anfiteatro griego al aire libre frente al Océano Atlántico

flanqueado por la Fortaleza de San Felipe a un lado, y el verde parque La
Puntilla en el otro. Ocasionalmente se celebran conciertos y otros eventos
artísticos.

BANCO DE LA PLATA

Sumérgete y nada con ballenas jorobadas desde mediados de enero hasta

marzo, cuando estos enormes mamíferos se dirigen al Santuario Banco de
la Plata para reproducirse.
CABARETE COFFEE COMPANY

Con sede en Cabarete, este proveedor de café “orgánico, cultivado bajo

sombra, cosechado a mano, de comercio justo” te llevará por un recorrido
de múltiples fincas cafetaleras a más o menos dos horas de distancia, donde
obtienen sus granos de café. Podrás tostar, moler y preparar tu propia taza.

CALLE SIN SALIDA

Estos pináculos de coral yacen en un laberinto entre manchas de arena

donde encontrarás barracudas, morenas y calamares. La pequeña pendiente
desciende 30 metros con una profundidad promedio de 15 metros.

El centro cultural más reciente de la costa norte que funciona como museo
y centro educativo de artesanías. Ubicada en el corazón del pueblo playero
de Sosúa, Casa de Arte rota exhibiciones de pinturas y esculturas y
organiza otros eventos todos los meses.

La Casa de La Cultura es uno de los centros intelectuales y culturales más

antiguos de Puerto Plata, reconstruida a principios del siglo XX, ahora
alberga eventos artísticos y culturales clave, desde exposiciones hasta
conferencias.
CASCADA CIGUAPA

Lleva la experiencia de cascada a otro nivel en Ciguapa Falls, contando un

total de doce saltos de hasta 10 metros de altura, durante una expedición
fluvial de dos horas. El viaje incluye una caminata a través de la densa
selva antes de comenzar esta aventura repleta de agua.

These coral pinnacles lie in a labyrinth among sandspots where you'll find
barracudas, brunettes and squid. The small slope descends 30 meters with
an average depth of 15 meters.
