APRENDIZAJE ESPERADO Aprender las herramientas de edición de entidades. N°07

1. CONTENIDO
1.1. COPY PARALLEL: Permite administrar los archivos del SIG; es el equivalente del
explorador de Windows (ESRI, 2016).
1.2. REPLACE SKETCH: Replace the shape of the edit sketch with the geometry of the topmost
visible feature where you rightclick. (ESRI, 2016)
1.3. CONSTRUCT POINTS: Create a new point features at an interval along a selected line. You
can create a specific number of points that are evenly spaced or at an interval based on
dictances or m-values. (ESRI, 2016).
1.4. SPLIT TOOL: Split a selected line feature into two features at a location you click. When you
click, the pointer must be within the snapping tolerance. (ESRI, 2016).
1.5. MERGE: Merge two or more selected feature from the same layer into one feature.

2. PRÁCTICA DIRIGIDA

PROCEDURES SETTINGS
CREAR Y MOVER ENTIDADES CON COORDENADAS XY
RELATIVE: (A)
1. Agregar Región_Perú.shp
2. START EDITING
3. Click derecho: COPY Y PASTE (choose layer, they must be in
the same directory)
4. From Editor Toolbar: Editor/MOVE
5. Agregar multiblocks_A.shp
6. Create multiblocks with different dimensions (modifica
puntos desde ref. local).
7. Add fields (MZN, AREA, SECTOR)
8. Apply FIELD CALCULATOR (assign values)
CREATE POLYLINES
1. Create another shape: “multiblocks_B.shp”
2. Use DIRECTION, LENGTH, ABSOLUTE XY, DELTA XY
3. From Edit Toolbar: Editing Options/Units/Direction Type =
Azimut North
CUT POLYGONS TOOL (Editor Toolbar): (B)
1. Cortar las manzanas formando lotes
2. From “multiblocks_A.shp”

RESHAPE FEATURE TOOL &C LIP (Editor Toolbar): (C) Cortará el

polígono que se intersecta a otro visualmente, e incorpora un
buffer.
3. From “multiblocks_A.shp”
4. Create new layer: “multiblocks_built.shp”

5. Draw new built áreas

6. Draw skylights on built areas
BUFFER (Editor Toolbar):
1. Agregar Lotes_MEJIA.shp
2. Aplicar B y C
3. MERGE & UNION (Editor Toolbar): Fusiona sin dejar líneas
divisorias; fusiona creando un nuevo polígono.
4. MERGE: Fusiona los polígonos dentro de un mismo layer.
5. UNION: Fusionar los polígonos dentro de un mismo layer, y
da opción a moverlos a otro layer. Usar para crear un layer
de manzanas
CREAR UNA LÍNEAS PARALELAS: (D)
1. Agregar ”Amazon.shp”:
2. START EDITING “camino.shp”
3. From Editor toolbar: Editor/COPY PARALLEL
o Distance: 10m, 15 m, y 50 m
4. Verifica distancia con Measure.

CREAR PUNTOS A PARTIR DE UNA LÍNEA: (E)

1. Seleccionar “Amazon.shp”
2. Start Editing
3. Crear puntos ref. a 20 m paralelos al borde del
“camino.shp”
4. From Editor toolbar: CONSTRUCT POINTS (esta operación
necesita de un layer de puntos)
o Agregar “Especie.shp”
o Distance: 20
DIVIDIR UNA LÍNEA EN SEGMENTOS EQUIDISTANTES
1. Agregar “Acequia.shp”:
2. Open attribute table
3. Add a Field: Calcular la geometría “longitud”.
4. From Editor toolbar: CONSTRUCT POINTS (esta operación
necesita de un layer tipo punto. Use“Especie.shp”
o Number of Points / Lenght
5. From Editor toolbar: SPLIT TOOL
6. Seleccionar línea a línea para cortar en segmentos.
7. Verificar en tabla de atributos los nuevos segmentos
8. Verificar cuadro “Identify”
FUSIONAR LÍNEAS
1. Selecionar “Acequia.shp” subdividida
2. Seleccionar los todos las líneas a fusionar
3. FROM EDITOR TOOLBAR: MERGE
4. From attribute table, se actualizará automáticamente el
número de segmentos, pero no la longitud.

APLICATION “Lotes_MEJIA.shp”
1. Create a new shape “Public_LIGHT.shp”
2. Aplicar D y E
3. Personalizar
