AUTOBIOGRAFIA

My name is Laura Marcela Perez, I am 19 years old, I was born on November 3, 2001, at the La

and I have a younger sister named Mariángel Perez.

I grew up in a town called Tibú with my whole family. I studied preschool at the Golosinas
educational center and then at the age of 5 I was accepted into the Domingo Savio Diversified
Institute where I attended primary and secondary school, and at 16 years I graduated.

When I was 5 years old, I underwent surgery because I had pain in the lower right part of my
abdomen, discovering that I had appendicitis. I had to drop out of school for a while to recover
and in order to get ahead I had to take private classes.

Since I was a child I have liked singing, it is my favorite hobby, so I participated many times in
events that were scheduled at the school I attended and events outside of it. I have also liked
practicing sports as part of teams in tournaments that were held in high school. I have always been
a dedicated person, always giving my best for my studies, so I always occupy the top positions in
school. At school I characterized myself as a quiet and serious person, but currently I am more
social and lively.
I always thought that since I liked music so much and I liked singing, I was going to be inclined to
study that area, but in the end I preferred a little more calculation and formulas, choosing to study
civil engineering.

Currently, in order to study at the university, I move to the city of Cúcuta, where I live with a
maternal aunt, but from time to time I travel to Tibú to visit my whole family. I was accepted at
the Francisco de Paula Santander University, where I have already completed six semesters of civil
engineering.

I have always wanted to be an independent person so my short-term goals is to graduate and

specialize, get a job, be able to please all my tastes, and in the long term it is to buy my own
house, travel to many countries in the world always and I will try hard to fulfill it.
