1. Leer la siguiente historia sobre un viaje. Mirar el glosario. Escribir las definiciones
que faltan y agregar más palabras si es necesario.

2. Enumerar las oraciones según el orden en el que fueron sucediendo los hechos.

The taxi arrived at the girl’s house.

They looked out of the window.
They chatted and listened to music.
1 The girls wanted to go to a match.
The taxi stopped in a street with pretty houses.
They called a taxi.
The taxi driver typed their destination into his satnav.

3. Past Simple: Regular Verbs.

Leer el texto nuevamente y subrayar:
 10 verbos regulares en pasado (terminados en -ed),
 1 oración en pasado negativa, y
 1 pregunta en pasado simple.
Usar distintos colores o tipos de subrayado.

4. Completar la tabla con didn’t talk, wanted y did you want.

Present simple Past simple

They want to go to the match. They ___________ to go to the match.

They don’t talk to the taxi driver. They ___________ to the taxi driver.

Where do you want to go? Where __________ to go?

5. Mirar los verbos en pasado del texto y responder las preguntas.

¿Qué letras le agregamos a un verbo regular en Pasado Simple, por ejemplo: call?

¿Qué hacemos si el verbo termina en e, por ejemplo: type?

¿Qué pasa con los verbos que terminan con consonante + vocal + consonante, por
ejemplo: chat, stop?
6. Leer las reglas:

Usamos el pasado simple para hablar sobre acciones terminadas en el pasado.

Reglas ortográficas para verbos regulares:

Infinitivo Pasado regla

stop stopped Consonante + vocal + consonante = se
dobla la última consonante
study studied consonante + y > ied

Para negar y preguntar en Pasado Simple usamos los auxiliares did y didn’t.
didn’t = did not
