2. Resistencia moderada a severa a los
procedimientos de manejo de la conducta
convencional incluyendo restricción física
3. Estado médico y/o neurológico
4. Limitaciones movimiento mandibular
5. Alergia Anestesia Local
6. Trauma craneofacial – infección orofacial
La intención del Programa de Atención
Odontológica bajo Anestesia General
del Hospital Infantil Universitario de San
José es reestablecer la salud oral con
tratamientos sin dolor ni incomodidad,
en una sola sesión, efectivos y
duraderos para los pacientes que no
permiten su atención en el sillón dental
El Programa de Odontología Bajo
Anestesia General en el Hospital Infantil
Universitario de San José, inicio el año
2008 con el objetivo de atender a niños
menores de 5 años con difícil
comportamiento en el sillón
odontológico y pacientes en situación
de discapacidad.
En todas estas categorías la severidad de
la enfermedad dental y necesidad de
tratamiento es un factor importante

Es una valoración global del paciente con el fin de que su
curso peroperatorio sea el mejor posible, debe incluir la
anamnesis, el examen físico y los exámenes complementarios

de enfermedad.
✓ Datos de laboratorio y otros estudios
realizados.

8 DIAS ANTES:
LLAMAR AL PACIENTE Y PREGUNTAR:
A. TIENE LOS DOCUEMTNOS VIGENTES?
B. ORIGINAL DEL CONSENTIMIENTO INFORMADO
C. REPASAR LAS INDICACIONES DE DIETA DADAS POR EL
ANESTESIÓLOGO
D. INDICARLE QUE SE PRESENTE EN LA RECEPCION DEL EDIFICIO DEL
HOSPITAL INFANTIL, 1 PISO, DOS HORAS ANTES DEL PROCEDIMIENTO Y
UNA VEZ HAYA UNA VERIFICACION DE LAS ORDENES DE TRATAMIENTO,
DIRIGIRSE AL PISO DE QUIROFANOS ( 2 O 4)
