Electronic Service Analyst
Que es el ESA?
El “Electronic Service Analyst (ESA)”, es una
herramienta de diagnóstico basada en el PC
similar al CAT ET o Cummins INSITE.
Porque necesitamos el ESA?
ESA es necesitado para detectar códigos de falla
y para diagnosticar la nueva instrumentación
electrónica.
Cuando necesitamos el ESA?
A partir del 2005. Cuando hay
problemas
Como trabaja el ESA?
El ESA se comunica a traves de un adaptador de
datos (DLA) a los componentes del NAMUX. El
técnico usará el ESA para leer los códigos de
falla almacenados en los componentes, verificar
la funcionalidad de los instrumentos, y
diagnosticar la causa de los problemas usando

DLA - Wireless Vehicle Link
• Una vez conectado al camión, el DLA or
Wireless Vehicle Link (WVL) suministra
mensajes entre el camión y el laptop via
a wireless link.

• El WVL y el computador están


configurados para comunicarse entre sí
UNICAMENTE. Esto no requiere de una

DLA – Vínculo inalámbrico del vehículo


Una vez está conectado al conector
de diagnóstico Deutsch de 9 pins al
vehículo, el DLA o vínculo inalámbrico del
vehículo (WVL) entrega mensajes entre el
camión y la computadora portátil por
medio de un vínculo inalámbrico.
El WVL y la computadora están
configurados para comunicarse
únicamente entre sí. Esta funcionalidad no
requiere una red inalámbrica local.
Esta configuración o red se configura
durante la instalación de ESA.
