Abstract: This work was aimed at designing a duplicator parking device that is capable of
raising all kinds of vehicles, whose problems arose from the lack of parking spaces in
places like residential units, hotels, universities, among others. For the design of the
duplicator, it began making an analysis of the different devices that had, from the earliest
patents to today, where the purpose was to see changes in the design of doublers due to
emerging needs during the years and determine the characteristics that make a good design.
For the lift system device was studied on the different alternatives that were available,
concluding in the end that the most viable system was the system of sprockets and chains.
The structural parts of the duplicator were designed taking into account the vehicle with the
larger and heavier than is currently on the market, from here came the calculations for the
material platform, mobile trucks, columns, sprockets and chains of the device.
