Years
/50 años EN Since 1968 we have placed our brand on every road.
Manufacturas Tomás S.A. was founded under its present
name in 1978 despite having operated in the motorcycle
sector since 1968. It continues to be run as a family busi-
ness up to the present day with the third generation of family
members now heading up the company.
At the beginning, MT Helmets manufactured all kinds of
accessories for the motorcycling world: saddles, grips, han-
dlebar protectors, anti-theft devices and helmets. It was at
the end of the 1970s that the motorcycle helmet became an
important part of the company’s product range, at the same
time as helmets were growing in demand with the Spanish
public. It was at this point that the company decided to fo-
cus all of its efforts into the creation of a wide range of prod-
ucts, with one idea in mind: “SAFETY”.

Manufacturas Tomás S.A. fue fundada con este nombre en
1978 pese a estar trabajando en el sector de la motocicleta
desde 1968. Como empresa familiar sigue en la actualidad
y cuenta con la tercera generación al frente de la compañía.
En sus inicios, MT Helmets fabricaba todo tipo de accesorios
para el mundo de la motocicleta: sillines, puños, protectores
de manillar, anti-robos, y cascos. Fue a finales de la década
de los años 70 cuando el casco de motocicleta comenzó a

a la vez que se convertía en un objeto que el público español
demandaba cada vez más. Es entonces cuando la empresa
decide volcar sus esfuerzos en crear toda una gama de pro-

are only granted when every single component of the helmets has duly passed an
established and exhausted security examination.

MT-V-19 visor
EN The New Thunder 3 Jet SV includes the MT-V-19 visor.
This visor provides a bigger field of vision and more
protection. MT visors are made by an injection process
using optical polycarbonate of high performance and
ensure an accurate and optimal vision. The MT-V-19
visor incorporates a small spoiler on the edge to reduce
turbulence and noise caused by wind in the bottom of the
helmet. The MT-V-19 visor mechanism allows a quick and
easy removal. Once the screen closed, the mechanism of
the base pushes against the rubber profile ensuring an
optimal seal.

EN At MT Helmets, we created a system that allows you

to close the sun visor in 3 different positions. The person

using the helmet will be able to regulate the height to which
the sun visor lowers. This assures the person wearing the
helmet that the sun visor adapting to all kinds of noses.
Thanks to this innovative system and to the increased
sun visor size, the quantity and entrance of light is highly
reduced.
