Queridos/as estudiantes,

Tenemos ya la resolucin final de las Becas de Atraccin del Talento de la Universidad de Jan. En
este e-mail encontraris informacin acerca de los pasos que habis de tomar si habis sido
seleccionados. Si habis sido excluidos, podris encontrar informacin acerca de cmo realizar la
matrcula regular en el caso de que deseis estudiar en la UJA.

Estos son los pasos a seguir:

I. Abre la resolucin y comprueba si tu nombre aparece en la lista de beneficiarios:

II. Si ests seleccionado/a.

1. Enva la carta de aceptacin por correo electrnico a secrel@ujaen.es antes del 1 de julio
de 2016 a las 14:00 (GMT+1) (Hora de Madrid). Puedes encontrar el modelo de de aceptacin de
la beca en los archivos adjuntos.

2. Asegrate de cual es el procedimiento de admisin aplicable en tu caso.Para facilitar este

paso, hemos preparado un grfico (admission at a glance), aunque el procedimiento completo esta
descrito en el documento denominado admission at a glance, aunque el procedimiento completo
est descrito en el documento denominado informacin sobre admisin. En resumen hay 4
opciones de admisin (1 para el caso de estudios de master y 3 para el caso de estudios de grado).
En cualquier caso, por favor lee el documento admission information detenidamente. Master:
a) Para los estudiantes de Master, slo tienen que seguir el apartado de Requisitos de Acceso para
estudiantes de Postgrado en el documento admission information(aqu no es necesario realizar
ningn examen ni reconocimiento oficial ni convalidacin parcial).
Grado:
b) If you have at least 30 ECTS credit worth of university studies (it corresponds to one academic
semester), then you are encouraged to opt for the partial validation of credits (follow the steps in
the II.B. paragraph of the "admission information" and "convalidacion hoja).
c) Si no tienes estudios universitarios o superiores previos pero has estudiado la enseanza secundaria
completa en un centro que sigue el curriculum europeo (p. ej. un Centro Britnico, Francs, Alemn,
Suizo) puedes realizar el proceso de preinscripcin directamente a travs del DUA (Distrito nico
Andaluz)
d) Si NO tienes ningn estudio superior previo (universitario o formacin profesional superior) y tampoco
has estudiado la enseanza secundaria en un centro que sigue el curriculum europeo, debes realizar la
Prueba de Acceso a la Universidad o PAU (tienes ms informacin en el documento denominado
admission information).

La mayor parte de vosotros/as podis optar por el procedimiento de convalidacin parcial de

crditos y de hecho esta es la va recomendad de acceso a la universidad en el caso de
estudios de grado.
Resulta realmente importante seguir todos los pasos de manera exhaustiva, especialmente
en lo que se refiere a la documentacin necesaria. En el caso del reconocimiento parcial de
crditos, es necesario que enviis los documentos en un nico archivo pdf. El nombre del
archivo deber indicar vuestro nombre y apellido(s), e.g. lopes_claudio.pdf. A continuacin
debes enviar el e-mail a la direccin que hemos indicado.

III. Si no has sido admitido como beneficiario/a.

Lanzaremos una nueva convocatoria el prximo ao. Si no deseas esperar, puedes solicitar el
acceso regular sin beca. En este caso, debes seguir el mismo procedimiento seguido por los
estudiantes becarios. Adems, puedes elegir cualquier programa de acuerdo con tus preferencias.
IV. Si has sido admitido, pero deseas cambiar la eleccin de tu grado o master.
No es posible cambiar tus preferencias una vez que has sido seleccionado/a. Puedes, no obstante,
declinar la ayuda y seguir regular admission pero sin beca.

V. Ests en la lista de espera. Qu puedes hacer?

En este momento no puedes hacer nada sino esperar hasta que algn beneficiario/a rechace la
beca. En ese caso te llamarn en funcin del puesto que ocupas en la lista de espera.

VI. Informacin Adicional.

1. Con la carta de aceptacin ya puedes ir al Consulado Espaol ms cercano e iniciar all el
proceso de Visado.
2. La Universidad de Jan se har cargo del seguro de salud, accidente, repatriacin y
responsabilidad civil de los beneficarios/as (no incluye atencin sanitaria de enfermedades crnicas
pre-existentes).

II. If you are admitted.

1. Send the Acceptance Letter by e-mail to secrel@ujaen.es until 1st July, 2016 14:00 (GMT
+1) (Madrid Time).
You can find this in the attachment. It is preferred to work with the Spanish version (the English
version is to provide you with some help).

2. Make sure which admission procedure is applicable in your case.

For this, we have prepared a document (admission at a glance), but the full procedure is described in
the "admission information" document.
In a nutshell, there are 4 options for admission (1 for the master and 3 for the degree). In any case,
please read the "admission information" thoroughly.
Master:
a) For the Master students, they just need to follow the "Entry requirements for posgraduate
students" section of the "admission information" document (there is no test, no official recognition,
no partial validation).
Degree:Degree:
b) If you have at least 30 ECTS credit worth of university studies (it corresponds to one academic
semester), then you are encouraged to opt for the partial validation of credits (follow the steps in
the II.B. paragraph of the "admission information" and "convalidacion hoja").
c) If you have completed secondary school, and your secondary school follows the European
curriculum, you have direct access (without the "PAU" exam). This is especially the case in case if
you studied in one of the Member States or associated countries of the European Union (Associated
countries: China, Principality of Andorra, Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein - more info in the "admission
information" document.)
d) If you have NOT carried out any university studies, then you will need to sit the compulsory
entrance exam "PAU" (more info in the "admission information" document).

The majority of you can opt for the partial validation of credits (convalidacin) and in fact this
is the recommended way of access to the university in case of the degree programs.

It is very important to follow every step carefully, especially regarding the required
documentation. In case of the partial recognition of credits, it is required that you send the
documents in a single pdf file. The name of the file should comprise your surname(s) and first
name (s), e.g. "uhrin_akos.pdf". Then send the document to the designated e-mail address.

III. If you have not been admitted.

We will lunch this call again in the next academic year as well. If you do not want to wait, you can opt
for the "regular access", without the grant. In this case, you have to go through the same procedure
as those students who receive the scholarship. In addition, you can select anyprogram according to
your liking.

iIV. If you have been admitted, but you wish to change your degree/master program.
It is not possible to change your preferences, once you have been selected. You can, however,
decline the grant and follow the "regular admission", without the grant.

V. You are on the waiting list. What to do?

At the moment, you cannot do anything but wait until someone rejects the grant and you will be
called based on the provisions established in the call.

VI. Additional information.

1. With the Acceptance Letter, you can go to the Spanish Embassy of your country and go through
the visa application process.
2. It is NOT obligatory to have a private insurance during your stay in Spain, as the university is going
to arrange this for you.
