Bioarquitectura, con ese concepto se refiere el arquitecto Javier Senosiain a la obra que disea. Este mexicano quiere plasmar en las casas que crea, espacios adaptados al hombre, semejantes al seno materno o a las mismas guaridas de los animales, proporcionando as una armona entre hombre, naturaleza y necesidades fsicas y psicolgicas. Qu es exactamente la arquitectura orgnica, de la que dicen usted es el precursor? Hay varias interpretaciones, quiz la que a mi ms me convence es la definicin del arquitecto Juan OGorman: Arquitectura Orgnica es la que toma en cuenta dos aspectos: El Geogrfico que es la orientacin, vistas, topografa, el entorno y por otro lado el aspecto Histrico, o sea la identidad y la cultura. Tiene algo que ver con la arquitectura bioclimtica o la construccin sostenible de las que tanto se habla ltimamente? Las casas semienterradas si tienen que ver con las construcciones sostenibles, ya que la tierra es un magnifico aislante, trmico y acstico. Gran parte de la filosofa de estas viviendas es el vivir en espacios curvos ms naturales, similar a los espacios construidos por los animales.

Bioarchitecture: this is the concept that the architect Javier Senosiain refers to when talking about his design work. This Mexican wants to capture in the houses that he creates spaces that are adapted to man, similar to the maternal womb, or to animals dens, thus providing a harmony between man, nature and physical and psychological needs .

What exactly is organic architecture, of which it is said that you are the forerunner? There are various interpretations, perhaps the most convincing one is that of the architect Juan OGorman: Organic Architecture is that which takes into account two aspects: the Geographic which is the orientation, views, topography, the environment and, on the other hand, the Historical aspect, or in other words, the identity and the culture. Does it have any relation to bioclimatic architecture or sustainable building of which theres been so much talk about recently?? Half-buried houses are related to sustainable buildings, as the earth is a wonderful insulator, both thermally and acoustically. Much of the philosophy of these homes is about living in more natural curved spaces, similar to the spaces built by animals.

Qu beneficios tiene vivir en una casa orgnica? Con tierra y pasto arriba, prcticamente el 100 % de la superficie del terreno puede ser verde y sta al transpirar produce oxgeno, entonces, de alguna manera rechaza la contaminacin y crea un microclima en el exterior de la casa que filtra el polvo. A qu hacen referencia las formas de las construcciones? Qu tipo de espacios se construyen? Este tipo de construcciones nos dan como resultado formas que nos recuerdan algunas de la naturaleza ya sea algn animal o vegetal son formas ms aerodinmicas y estas mismas formas logran continuidad y por lo tanto son formas rgidas estructuralmente.

What are the benefits of living in an organic house? With soil and grass above, virtually 100% of the land surface can be green and, through breathing, it produces oxygen which, somehow, rejects pollution and creates a microclimate on the outside of the house that filters dust. What do the shapes of the building make reference to? What types of spaces are constructed? These types of constructions result in forms that remind us of nature like some animal or plant forms. These are more aerodynamic, achieve continuity and are thus structurally rigid forms.

Cmo conlleva la relacin entre fantasa, imaginacin y realidad? La fantasa es muy bonita, la pura palabra suena y motiva a imaginar, a fantasear y, sin embargo, pienso que cuando uno proyecta no es tanto con imaginacin o pensando en la fantasa, mucho es producto de una investigacin, de un inters de ir a la esencia, al origen de las cosas y algunas veces el resultado se vislumbra hacia lo fantstico y lo imaginativo, pero no es tanto eso. El proceso es un poco pesado, angustioso, de mucho trabajo, pero es durante el mismo proceso, cuando sale la idea, que da una gran satisfaccin, eso se va puliendo y da un resultado final, quiz en el resultado empiece uno a fantasear. En su opinin, cmo ser la arquitectura que veamos en unos aos? Tendr algo que ver con el modelo que usted defiende y con el respeto por el medio ambiente y la reduccin del consumo energtico? Se vislumbraba una tendencia hacia una arquitectura ms natural y humana ya que en los ltimos 50 aos se ha destruido ms la naturaleza que en los 5.000 aos anteriores y actualmente ya estamos notando el efecto del calentamiento global.

How do you balance the relationship between fantasy, imagination and reality? Fantasy is beautiful, the mere word rings of it and motivates one to imagine and to fantasize. However, when you are doing a project its not so much about imagination as a product of an investigation. Its about interest in going to the essence, to the origin of things and sometimes the result is inclined toward the fantastic and imaginative, but it isnt so much that. The process is a little heavy, stressful, with lots of hard work, but its during the same process, as the ideas flow, that the greatest satisfaction is found. This can be polished and it gives a final result, maybe in the outcome one can start to fantasize. In your opinion, whats the architecture were going to see in a few years going to be like? Will it have anything to do with the model that you defend and with a respect for the environment and reduction of energy consumption?? One can envision a trend toward more natural and human architecture as in the past 50 years more nature has been destroyed than in the previous 5,000 years and now were already feeling the effects of global warming.
