EL MICROCUENTO:

Qu es el microcuento?:- Los escritores coinciden en que el microcuento es un relato breve. A.- CONCEPTO: El microcuento es una pieza literaria breve, en el que predomina la accin, el conflicto y la respuesta a este. De este concepto podemos establecer que debe ser ultra corto. Al menos hasta 150 a 200 palabras no ms. Este es un requisito importante. Ya que para llegar a ello hay que escoger el lenguaje preciso en la redaccin del relato y en la eleccin de las palabras. Para ello te aconsejo que leas bastante para lograr dicha meta, y mantn siempre a la mano un diccionario. Lo que no debes hacer es rellenar tu microcuento con tantas descripciones o escribir sobre varios temas a la vez. Debes pensarlo como un clculo matemtico, tal como la suma de 2+2=4, en que siempre el resultado ser 4. Lo que tienes que hacer es escribir sobre un tema, un personaje, un ambiente, un nudo o conflicto, un clmax, y una respuesta a ese conflicto, lo que algunos lo llaman desenlace. B.- REQUISITOS: Los requisitos para desarrollar una buena cuadratura de un microcuento es: 1.-Una buena presentacin de un conflicto, crisis o nudo, 2.- Llegues a un clmax, y 3.- Tengas una buena respuesta a ese conflicto planteado o desenlace.

B1.-Una buena presentacin de un conflicto, crisis o nudo: Debes plantear el conflicto de inmediato a fin de que puedas producir una buena impresin en el lector. Por ejemplo, en el ultracorto titulado Mis Amados Muertos, el conflicto se plantea de la siguiente manera: Hastiado de la

gente me resultaba placentero ir todos los das al Cementerio, en donde

surge inmediatamente el conflicto interno del personaje al preguntarse el lector porqu est hastiado de la gente?, Qu sucedi?. Y esto lo lleva a interesarse por continuar leyendo el relato. Despierta la curiosidad como todo buen cuento. Es llamar la atencin, despertar el inters, atrapar al lector y cogerle desprevenido al final respondiendo la pregunta o el nudo del relato.

El microcuento es como sigue: Mis Amados Muertos Hastiado de la gente me resultaba placentero ir todos los das al Cementerio N1, me daba una sensacin de sosiego sepulcral. Tan exquisito y antiqusimo. Pasaba horas, sentado frente a las lapidas observando y oliendo el ambiente a putrefaccin y flores. Vi a los panteoneros abrir atades aosos y apilar los cuerpos carcomidos por el tiempo y el aire se envolva con pulverizados fragmentos de piel seca que se elevaban para volver a caer sobre la sepultura que tena enfrente escrito mi nombre.(Michael Fajardo Varas). B2.- Llegar a un Climax: Esta es la parte de tensin mxima en que las palabras de la historia han convergido para perturbar al lector. B3.- Respuesta al conflicto planteado o desenlace: Debes concluir con una argumentacin positiva o negativa de tu personaje o situacin, sea natural o sobrenatural, real o fantasiosa, pero debes ser lo ms creble posible al responder el conflicto planteado. Debes evitar dar un pensamiento, o un razonamiento aislado, o terminar con un poema o una voz distinta a la que

inicio el relato. No vas a terminar con palabras al cierre sacadas de un diccionario filosfico, ni menos con una reflexin personal. Debes concluir con la misma voz que inicio el relato y entregando una respuesta a tu conflicto para que el efecto no se pierda. Y sobretodo no terminarlo con frases clichs o ya utilizadas por otros escritores o cineastas, debes ser en este mbito un innovador. En el siguiente ultracorto Dolor de Muelas nos ayuda a entender la idea de que tiene que existir una relacin entre el inicio y el final de un microcuento, el siguiente: Inicio La rubia tiene dolor de muelas. Desarrollo: A las seis horas no aguanta ms toma una soga al cuello y se cuelga. Final La rubia est muerta, pero el dolor de muelas persiste con ms insistencia. Un Final que no debes escribir es el siguiente: Es bueno atenderse con el dentista una vez al ao.

El microcuento es como sigue: Dolor de Muelas La rubia tiene dolor de muelas. El dolor es insoportable. Va al bao, busca algn tranquilizante. Toma pastillas, pero al cabo de dos horas no puede dormir. Bebe un vaso de agua fra y retiene el agua en la boca para

aliviarse. No para de quejarse, ya lleva cuatro horas. Aplica analgsicos localizados, pero resultan ser ineficaces. Quiere tomar el alicate y arrancarse de una sola vez las muelas. A las seis horas no aguanta ms toma una soga al cuello y se cuelga. La rubia est muerta, pero el dolor de muelas persiste con ms insistencia.(Michael Fajardo Varas) C.- CARACTERISTICAS: Todo microcuento debe ser escrito cumpliendo las siguientes caractersticas, aunque habr algunos escritores que te sealen que el microcuento no posee formulas o reglas, las siguientes caractersticas son: C1.- Debe ser el relato de una historia breve. C2.- Esta historia debe contener predominantemente accin. La accin la logras por el uso de verbos. Ante todo Accin, sta es la que le da el dinamismo a tu relato, por lo que debes introducir bien los verbos para mantener de un hilo al lector. C3.- Introducir al inicio de la frase el conflicto o nudo inmediatamente, como por ejemplo: El hombre cort la mano: la mujer corri: el nio se lamentaba, debes tomar un buen libro de gramtica espaola y sobre el uso de los verbos en la oracin. C4.- Proponer a lo menos dos personajes, agregar ms es dilatar la accin. Debes por tanto, terminar el relato con el personaje o situacin que iniciaste, jams con un personaje o situacin diferente o distinta. Menos con una reflexin final en tu relato ya que perders el efecto de sorprender y encantar en la composicin de tu pieza u obra literaria. C5.- Debes ser breve en el uso del tiempo, el espacio, los escenarios, ya que si incluyes varios escenarios debers describirlos y perders en ellos el efecto del relato.

C6.- El titulo es tan importante como el relato mismo y es parte del relato por lo que debe estar dentro del contexto de lo que relataras, solo que al escoger el titulo debes evitar ser tan obvio de perjudicar el relato al restarle la sorpresa al texto completo. C7.- El final debe ser sorprendente, puedes escoger ser natural, real, sobrenatural con la respuesta a tu interrogante planteada como conflicto en el inicio, pero lo importante es que debes ser creble y provocar en el lector una perturbacin en su mente y una reflexin ulterior. C8.- Debes practicar una y otra vez redactando sin prejuicios tus microcuentos y avanzar sin criticar todava tus relatos. Deja reposar. Luego de varios das, debes cortar, condensar, abreviar, aquellas expresiones que no aporten al relato por ser demasiado excesivas, sobreabundantes o no aportan al texto y solo lo dilatan, lo entenebrecen tornndolo oscuro, difuso, y que provoquen de alguna manera confusin, debes verificar la accin, el dinamismo, y que te resulte creble, sugerente ms que explicito y trascendental en el final. C9.-Practica, Practica, Practica. No seas como el personaje de la siguiente historia: El ms riguroso de los novelistas: Durante casi treinta aos el escritor se preparo para escribir su obra maestra. Al cabo de ese tiempo-y al cumplir los setenta-haba tomado millones de apuntes en miles de cuadernos y libretas. Su casa estaba repleta de aquella portentosa materia prima para su novela. All haba anotado cuidadosamente ancdotas, observaciones, dilogos, monlogos internos, descripciones y toda clase de datos para el libro. Con ese bagaje superara a Cervantes, a Scott, a Dumas, a Balzac, a Proust. . . . Era, en efecto, un da especial. Como pudo, entre aquellas colosales montaas de papel, slo contenidas por el techo y en precario equilibrio, lleg hasta su escritorio. Tom asiento frente a la maquina, y al teclear con pasin y entusiasmo, hizo que aquellas pilas de

cuadernos y libretas se derrumbaran aplastando el frgil cuerpo: la muerte fue instantnea, sepultado por sus notas literarias.(Ren Avils Fabila) D.- NATURALEZA DEL MICROCUENTO: Es ficcin, accin y efectos en un solo fotograma. E.RECURSOS PARA REDACTAR UN BUEN MICROCUENTO(Extraidas del

taller de Escritura Salvat Editores S.A, Espaa 1996. Redactores Ariel Rivadeneira y Lola Morilla). 1. Recopilar ancdotas ajenas y apropiarse de algn detalle de cada una o de su totalidad. 2. Fusionar propio. 3. Imitar una pgina del texto de un escritor consagrado y comprobar el ensamblaje de las palabras. 4. Provocar las ideas observando lo que ocurre a nuestro alrededor, estemos donde estemos, ser una manera de que se produzca la chispa de la inspiracin. 5. Crear palabras o letras a partir de los crucigramas o las sopas de letras. 6. Pedir que nos cuenten ancdotas de otro tiempo vivido. 7. Mientras esta encendido el televisor recoger frases largas y cortas de los anunciantes. 8. Buscar en el diccionario palabras con diferentes iniciales, o elegir tres palabras al azar. 9. Elegir las palabras ms exactas para lo que queremos decir y no usar las obvias o las que son tan tpicas que no las registramos. 10. 7. A quien le escribiste tu primera carta PROPUESTA 2: a) Hacer una lista de las acciones que observes en las personas que te rodeen, durante media hora en un espacio determinado. Apuntarlas. b) Numerar las acciones en un orden que no se corresponda con la lgica que podra conectarlas. c) Imaginar el tema del posible relato como consecuencia de la serie de acciones anteriores.

PROPUESTA 3: Escribir a partir de un texto del peridico PROPUESTA 4: Contaminar o mezclar elementos o tres fragmentos de autores distintos y escribir un texto, resultante de dicha combinacin. Se pueden combinar silabas, frases, ideas, etc, en el orden que se quiera. PROPUESTA 5 Establecer asociaciones entre un paraguas y una escopeta (u otros elementos) explicar la relacin paso a paso hasta fundir ambos objetos en el texto. PROPUESTA 6 Cerrar los ojos y concentrarse durante unos minutos en la visin de una pgina. Abrir los ojos y ponerse a escribir inmediatamente acerca de dicha pagina. ULTRACORTOS Viaje onrico a la Juventud perdida Oculto entre cartones bajo el balneario de Cavancha no pudo evitar dormirse. Crey nadar en olas antiguas, de oleajes extraos, de su juventud perdida. Sumido en un lenguaje alfabticamente desconocido, los pasos interpretan las emociones, juegan los sonidos, confunden los significados, desaparecen los matices, y los ecos, ecos de aquella Ciudad distante y desconocida. Como revivir aquellas imgenes de Iquique de su

juventud!, Cmo contener los lejanos recuerdos que se pintan ahora en su cabeza como un lienzo con olor a perfume de ocano!. Al despertar, abri sus ojos y se fue arrastrando su saco de mendigo del Centro Fantasmas Desde joven al caminar por las viejas calles de Iquique escuchaba como las veredas de madera se quejaban sus historias, geman sus fantasmas. Hoy, -ya viejo- los fantasmas se han ido, y yo tambin en breve les seguir. Bitcora del Buque Varado Lo que vimos surgir del mar fue un ser infernal con brazos y torso de una mujer, y de su cintura hacia abajo eran ocho tentculos poderosos de un pulpo, o podran ser tambin los de un calamar. Escuchamos un estruendoso golpe sobre el Alida que causo pnico en la tripulacin. Los aldeanos de esta pennsula del lugar llamado Iquique nos han socorrido voluntariosamente y salvado los pocos pertrechos, despus de haber varado en esta playa. El ser expuls una gran cantidad de agua negra, para perderse a una gran velocidad salvaje. El monasterio de la Plaza Prat En cada Ciudad y pueblo de Chile hay una plaza, y en cada plaza una catedral. En la plaza Prat de Iquique hay un teatro. Pero alguna vez hubo una Catedral y un monasterio!, los cuales se incendiaron en 1873. Nunca ms se volvieron a construir. Desde entonces, una figura espectral de capucha negra, escapulario, Crucifico de Cristo de San Damin, se pasea durante las noches rezando: Altissimo glorioso Dio, illumina le tenebre de

lo core mio et da me fede dricta, sperana certa e caritade perfecta, senno et cognoscemento, Signore, che faa lo tuo santo e verace commandamento Amen.

La amenaza En la zona sur de Iquique se yergue hacia el cielo una colosal estatua griega que seala con su dedo titnico hacia el mar ante aquel sol poniente. La inscripcin de cobre dice: Todo aquel que ingrese por estas aguas, no regresar nunca ms. El lobo marino y el Pescador Un Pescador se encontr con un Lobo Marino en la Caleta Riquelme. -

Asustado el Pescador pregunt: Pero qu bigotes tan grandes tienes, Lobo Marino. -Ja, JA, sonri el Lobo Marino- mis bigotes no son tan grandes como t crees. -Bueno, entonces si estamos con esa y en confianza- dijo el Pescador- puedo confesarte que no soy pescador: Soy Pez. La Extraa casa La bruma marina apenas dejaba ver aquella casa construida estilo Giorgiano frente a la pennsula de Cavancha, en Iquique. Su arquitectura, peculiar en el lugar, la converta extraamente en una figura opresiva e insana. Las dos grandes puertas evocaban a orgenes antiguos de los que los iquiqueos no recordaban. Su entrada amplia de peldaos de madera de pino Oregn solo confirmaba esta aseveracin. Pero lo ms singular era la terrible maleza que haba crecido en el lugar con formas geomtricas totalmente desconocidas para la ciencia. El lugar estaba vaco desde mi infancia, y nadie se atrevera a habitar dicha casa. Un romance fuera del tiempo En Huaiquique cercana a la orilla donde rompen las olas sobre las rocas marca una animita el lugar donde desapareci un soldado que por amor se arroj al mar al ver a su amada que se estaba ahogando, al salvarla, ste absorbido por la corriente y el alta mar perdi las fuerzas y nunca ms se le volvi a ver. Ella jur mientras viviera ir a aquel lugar a dejarle flores y encenderle una vela. A veces, es posible ver al soldado buscarla por la playa preguntando a los veraneantes por su amada, cuando ella no va.

Destello alucinante El lunes 09 de Julio por la noche Iquique se ilumino a eso de las 23:30 horas, el origen de esta luminosidad fue una conmocin en el Universo, un relmpago, una luz clara, fugaz estela, que cay del Cielo, el extrao objeto despert la curiosidad de muchos. Primero, uno cay sobre el mar de Cavancha, luego otro sobre el Cerro Dragn, y as sumaron mil trescientos cuatro. Lo ltimo, que recuerdo antes que el Ejrcito interviniera fue ver aquellos seres chapoteando escamosos, hmedos, bpedos, de hbitos trepadores y de ojos saltones que surgan del mar. El retorno Y los espermatozoides se alborotaron tanto, cuando quedo claro que no haba sido yo el que cometi el delito de contaminacin de las aguas en contra de la poblacin Iquiquea, que se acercaron para darme por fin la bienvenida y mientras unos aplaudan, otros se daban de golpes contra las paredes y los dbiles tomando en serio mis palabras, o sea, que yo sera el primero en fecundar el vulo para volver a nacer, se acicalaban sus colas listos para emprender la carrera.

Traficantes de lapidas Ya los haban marcado la noche anterior de San Juan, los dos sin miramientos haban estado durante aos saqueando tumbas al interior del Cementerio para vender el Mrmol en la Feria de las pulgas a bajo precio, de pronto se detuvieron ante el umbral de la puerta, y luego cayeron muertos, aquella maana la Sociedad de brujos artesanos del Norte los haba aniquilado para siempre. El loco Fali Todas las maanas bajaba el loco Fali por la Calle Sotomayor sobre las vas del tren en direccin hacia el Barrio el Colorado. Trotaba hacia atrs, y no se caa. Repeta siempre el mismo ritual a la misma hora, despus que pasara el tren de las once. Bajaba gritando: NAMAA TE TOMA, NAMAA TE TOMA. Todos creamos que era Aymara. Pero un da decid trotar junto a l y me confes que el Tren haba arrollado a su hijo y el juro vengarse, por lo que todos los das el bajaba gritando: MAANA TE MATO, MAANA TE MATO. La Llorona A la mujer le leyeron la Sentencia Judicial en el tribunal de Familia de Iquique que sealaba que la tuicin de los menores la tendra el padre, en el mismo momento la mujer grito por los pasillos de los tribunales un desesperado alarido ensordecedor y gutural, hasta que se volvi loca. A veces, viste de negro y se le puede escuchar durante las noches vagando por las calles de Iquique arrastrando sus cadenas y llorando por sus hijos, gritando: Dooondeeee estn mis hijos?, Dnde estn mis hijos?. El macabro consumismo Abri sus fauces mostrando los amarillentos colmillos. Sus solitarias garras huesudas desplomaron el sarcfago, miro a su alrededor y su mundo haba cambiado. Las cortinas del viejo edificio de hospedaje haban cado mostrando la luna milenaria, y decadente. Se acerco la siniestra figura a la ventana, y a lo lejos divis en letras Grandes y de Nen: FALABELLA, SODIMAC. Y ms all: LIDER. Qu extrao mundo- PensAbri su capa negra con interiores rojos y emprendi el vuelo nocturno hacia el gran cartel con el Murcilago alado en estreno donde sealaba con letras grandes y de Nen: CINEMARK. Estaba sediento de sangre, y sus

amarillentos colmillos se clavaron en un fantico de Batman. Es el inicio de la era del Murcilago, y de los caminantes nocturnos. Cuidado con las plantas Las plantas se miran, No se tocan. Son Carnvoras!. Highlander Su nombre es Miguel y se crio en las tierras altas de la Jorge Inostroza hace 30 aos. En la cantera mat a espadas a todos, pele hasta que al final como bravo guerrero cay ante los tres ojos de mar que all haba. Las aves lloran amargamente su partida. Quin quiere vivir para siempre? Desde que los iquiqueos eliminaron a La Muerte nadie muri ms. Las funerarias quebraron, las aseguradoras, y a.f.p.s tambin. Cavancha sin preocupaciones. Los Iquiqueos, ahora inmortales, se baaban durante meses en playa Otros, se paseaban aos arriba de sus vehculos. Algunos, jugaban a lanzarse desde edificios costeros hacia el mar en picada y ya nadie trabajaba ms, ni tenan metas. Todo se dejaba para otro da de la eternidad. Pero vino el hasti, y con el hasto el aburrimiento, y vivir en la bella Ciudad de Iquique ya no tena sentido. Representacin Teatral Ya basta de continuar con esta parodia llamada vida. S que he representado mal mi papel secundario, y quiero que esta obra termine de una vez. Estoy cansado de malos amores y de dramas hasta la ltima escena. Solo djenme terminar mis ltimas lneas, y les prometo que me ir sin cobrar.

A. - CONCEPT: The micro story is a short literary piece, which dominates the action, conflict, and the answer to this.

This concept can be set to ultra short. At least 150 to 200 words no more. This is an important requirement. Because to get there you have to choose the precise language in writing the story and in the choice of words. To do this I suggest you read enough to achieve that goal, and always keep a dictionary handy. What not to do is fill in your micro story with many descriptions or write about several topics at once.
