Cundo usar el First Conditional?
Explicacin Cuando usamos el primer condicional nos referimos al futuro. Tambin usamos el primer condicional para expresar un resultado que es seguro que ocurra si la condicin se cumple. Ejemplos - If I have money next year, Ill buy a car.

- If it rains, I will definitely take the bus.

Formacin
Una oracin condicional est compuesta por dos partes: la condicin y el resultado. El primer condicional se forma de la siguiente manera: IF + Presente Simple (la condicin) + Futuro Simple (el resultado). El orden de las dos partes no importa. Futuro Simple + Presente Simple tambin es correcto. If it rains, I will take the bus. (Ponemos una coma para separar las dos partes) Ill take the bus if it rains. (No ponemos la coma) Tambin podemos formar la condicin con el Presente Continuo o el Pretrito Perfecto (Present Perfect). Adems, el resultado se puede formar tanto con el imperativo como con el futuro simple. Los verbos modales que pueden sustituir a WILL son: CAN, MAY, MIGHT, MUST, SHOULD. If you are failing your exams, study harder. If the children have finished their lunch, they can go out and play. If you're not feeling well, you should call a doctor. If Mary has time, she might come and see us. You may borrow the car if you put petrol in it.

UNLESS puede sustituir a IF....NOT: IF you do NOT turn in the report, you will lose your job. UNLESS you turn in the report, you will lose your job. o You will lose your job UNLESS you turn in the report.
