¿QUE ES LA
ANEMIA?
● La anemia es un trastorno de la sangre. La sangre es un líquido
esencial para la vida que el corazón bombea constantemente por
todo el cuerpo a través de las venas y las arterias. Cuando hay
algo malo en la sangre, puede afectar la salud y la calidad de vida.

● La anemia es una afección en la cual careces de suficientes


glóbulos rojos sanos para transportar un nivel adecuado de
oxígeno a los tejidos del cuerpo.
TIPOS DE ANEMIA

POR DEFICIENCIA DE HIERRO

La anemia por deficiencia de hierro es un tipo frecuente de anemia, trastorno en el


cual la sangre no tiene la cantidad suficiente de glóbulos rojos sanos. Los glóbulos
rojos transportan oxígeno a los tejidos del cuerpo.

GRUPOS DE RIESGOS:

 Los bebés y niños, los adolescentes y las mujeres en edad de procrear


 Las personas que tienen ciertas enfermedades y problemas de salud, como la
enfermedad de Crohn, la celiaquía (enfermedad celíaca) o la insuficiencia renal
 Las personas que no reciben suficiente hierro a partir de los alimentos que
comen
 Las personas que tienen sangrado interno
 
ANEMIA PERDICIOSA
La vitamina B12 y el ácido fólico (otro tipo de vitamina B) son necesarios
para la producción de glóbulos rojos sanos. El organismo absorbe
estas vitaminas de los alimentos. La anemia perniciosa se presenta si
el organismo no produce suficientes glóbulos rojos porque no puede
absorber suficiente vitamina B12 de los alimentos.

la vitamina B12
