Capitulo 1.

Oliver nace en un asilo para pobres, ahí su madre fue a dar a luz, quien muere casi de manera
inmediata, nadie lo podía cuidar allí, por lo que fue enviado a un orfanato. A la edad de 9
Oliver era un niño delgado y pálido, pero con espíritu fuerte. La ama de llave del orfanato era
muy cruel lo golpeaba y lo encerraba solo por decir que tenia hambre.

Un día llego de sorpresa Mr Bumble el encargado del asilo para pobres al orfanato y el decidió
que Oliver ya era muy grande para estar allí, así que lo devolvieron al asilo.

En este lugar el pasaba mas hambre que en el orfanato, un día sus compañeros decidieron
pedir mas comida y por sorteo salió Oliver, el tuvo que pedir la comida, debido a esto fue
castigado y encerrado por 1 semana.

Chapter 1.

Oliver was born in a workhouse, when his mother, no one could looked after him there, so he
was sent to an orphanage. At the age of 9 Oliver was a thin and pale child, but with a strong
spirit. The orphanage's housekeeper was very cruel and would beat him and lock him up just
for saying he was hungry.

One day Mr. Bumble, the head of the workhouse, arrived by surprise at the orphanage and
decided that Oliver was too old to be there, so he was sent back to the workhouse.

In this place there was even less food than at the orphanage, one day the boys decided to ask
for more food the played a game called drawing lots, so Oliver came out, he had to ask for
more food, because of this he was punished and locked up for 1 week.

CAPITULO 2. OLIVER CONSIGUE TRABAJO.

Mr Bumble se encontró con el enterrador, Mr Sowerberry y le ofreció 5 pounds para que se

llevara a Oliver a trabajar con él . Mr Sowerberry lo llevo a su casa, a su esposa no le agrado
mucho a Oliver, esa noche lo enviaron a dormir en una cama en el suelo rodeado de ataúdes,
el está muy triste.

Al día siguiente Oliver conoció Noah Claypole quien le dijo que ahora él le daría las ordenes,
era un chico pobre que también trabajaba para el enterrador.

Mr Sorrerberry tuvo la idea de llevar a Oliver a los funerales ya que era un chico guapo con
cara triste, y ese era su trabajo, estar allí y lucir triste.

Noah estaba celoso del trabajo de Oliver, así que fue cada vez más cruel con él, y comenzó a
decirle cosas horribles sobre su madre. Oliver comenzó a golpearlo, por esto el fue castigado
y encerrado en una celda, estaba muy triste, así que un día tomo sus cosas y decidió escapar.
CHAPTER 2. OLIVER GETS A JOB.

Mr. Bumble met the undertaker, Mr. Sowerberry and o ered him 5 pounds to take Oliver to
work with him. Mr. Sowerberry took him home, his wife didn't like Oliver very much, that night
he was sent to sleep in a bed on the floor surrounded by co ins, he was very sad.

The next day Oliver met Noah Claypole who told him that now he would give him orders, he
was a poor boy who also worked for the undertaker.

Mr Sorrerberry had the idea to take Oliver to the funerals, he was a good-looking boy with a
sad face, and that was his job, look sad.

Noah was jealous of Oliver's job, so he became increasingly cruel to him, and started saying
horrible things to him about his mother. Oliver started to beat him, he was punished and
locked in a cellar, he was sad, so one day he took his things and decided to escape.

CAPITULO 3, OLIVER HACE NUEVOS AMIGOS.

Oliver camino con dirección a Londres, fue un camino difícil, fueron 7 días pidiendo comida y
agua, al final sus pies estaban sangrando.

Al 7mo día se encuentra con un chico de su misma edad llamado Jack Dawkins mas
conocido como el DODGER y el lo invita a quedarse con un hombre que le dará alojamiento y
comida, Oliver acepta.

Cuando llegaron a Londres, el Dodger llevo a Oliver al casa, subieron la segundo piso ahí
estaba el hombre llamado Fagin, el lugar era feo y el hombre también, habían camas en el
piso y 4 o 5 niños más en la habitación.

Esa noche Fagin le preparo una cena a Oliver y una copa, luego de comer Oliver se quedó
dormido.

CHAPTER 3, OLIVER MAKES NEW FRIENDS.

Oliver set o in the direction of London, it was a di icult journey, it was 7 days begging for
food and water, at the end his feet were bleeding.

On the 7th day he meets a boy of his own age called Jack Dawkins, better known as the
DODGER, and he invites Oliver to stay with a man who will give him room and food, Oliver
accepts.

When they reached London, Dodger took Oliver to the house, they went up to the second
floor, the place was ugly and so was the man his name was Fagin, there were beds on the floor
and 4 or 5 more children in the room.

That night Fagin prepared a supper and a nightcap for Oliver, after this Oliver fell asleep.
Capitulo 4, Oliver aprende algunas habilidades.

Al día siguiente Dodger y su amigo Charley Beates regresan donde Fagin quien estaba con
Oliver y le entregan un par de billeteras y cuatro pañuelos, Fagin estaba contento con lo que
le había traído los niños. Entre ellos comienzan a jugar un extraño juego, los dos chicos
debían quitarle las cosas que andaba trayendo Fagin sin que él se dé cuenta. Fagin le
preguntó a Oliver si quería intentarlo, él dijo que si, tenía que intentar quitarle un pañuelo sin
que se diera cuenta Fagin , lo logró y este le dio una moneda.

Unos días después Fagin envió a Oliver con Dodger y Charley a trabajar juntos. Vieron a un
hombre mayor leyendo en el puedo de libros los dos chicos se aproximaron al hombre y le
robaron su pañuelo, Oliver veía lo que ocurrió con horror, los dos chicos salieron corriendo y
se escondieron, Oliver salió atrás de ellos, el anciano pensó que Oliver era el ladrón, después
de la persecución por las calles Oliver es atrapado por el policía, el le dijo que no había
robado nada, que habían sido otros dos chicos.

De todas maneras, fue arrestado, al señor que le habían robado el pañuelo era Mr Brownlow.,
el se aproximó a la estación de policía para liberar a Oliver, sabia que era inocente, cuando
fue dejado en libertar el estaba completamente blanco y tembloroso, así que Mr Brownlow
ordeno llevarlo en un carruaje.

Chapter 4, Oliver learns some skills.

The next day Dodger and his friend Charley Beates returned to see Fagin, they gave him a
couple of wallets and four handkerchiefs, Fagin was content. Fagin and the two boys played
a very curious game. the two boys had to take away the things that Fagin was bringing without
him noticing. Fagin asked Oliver if he wanted to try, he said yes, Oliver had to try to take a
handkerchief without Fagin noticing, he did it, so Fagin gave him a coin.

A few days later Fagin sent Oliver with Dodger and Charley to work together. They saw an old
man reading books in a bookstall the two boys approached the man and took out his
handkerchief, Oliver watched what happened in horror, the two boys ran o and hid, Oliver
came out behind them, the old man thought Oliver was the thief, after the chase through the
streets Oliver is caught by the policeman, he told him that he had not stolen anything, it had
been two other boys.

Anyway, he was arrested, the man who was stolen Mr. Brownlow, approached the police
station to say Oliver wasn´t the thief, he knew he was innocent, Oliver was discharging . He
was completely white and shaking, so Mr. Brownlow ordered to take him in a carriage.
Capitulo 5, El RETRATO.

Mrs Bedwin, la ama de llaves de la casa de Mr Brownlow estuvo cuidando a Oliver mientras se
recuperaba, el día que se sentía mejor Oliver se sentó en un sillón frente a l retrato de una
mujer que era igual a Oliver.

Chapter 5, The PORTRAIT.

Mrs. Bedwin, the housekeeper of Mr. Brownlow's house was taking care of Oliver while he was
recovering, the day he was feeling better Oliver sat in an armchair in front of the portrait of a
woman who looked just like Oliver.

Capitulo 6, Persona Perdida.

Cuando Dodger llego donde Fagin este se encontraba son Bill Sikes ( 35 años aprox), Fagin
estaba muy enojado al saber que Oliver había sido arrestado, sabia que el niño podía hablar y
meterlos en problemas.

En ese momento llega Nancy, y Fagin le pide que encuentre a Oliver.

Mientras tanto Oliver seguía viviendo en casa de Mr Brownlow, se sentía muy bien viviendo
allí, estaba feliz. Un día Oliver se ofreció a devolver los libros que Mr Brownlow había pedido
prestados, además le paso 5 pounds para que pagara y le trajera vuelto. Mientras se dirigía a
la rienda de libros una mujer (Nancy) lo agarra fuerte y se lo lleva diciendo que era su
hermano perdido, él intenta zafarse, pero no pudo. Se lo llevaron a la casa de Fagin y le
quitaron todo, la ropa, el dinero y los libros. Ahora el Mr brownlow pensaría que Oliver era un
ladrón ya que nunca regreso.

Chapter 6, Missing Person.

When Dodger arrived at Fagin's place, he was with Bill Sikes (35 years old), Fagin was very
angry to know that Oliver had been arrested, he knew that the boy could talk and get them in
trouble.

At that moment Nancy arrives, and Fagin asks her to find Oliver.

Meanwhile Oliver was living at Mr. Brownlow's house, he felt very well living there, he was
happy. One day Oliver o ered to return the books that Mr. Brownlow had borrowed, and Mr.
Brownlow gave him 5 pounds note to pay in the bookshop. Oliver hurried towards the
bookshop a woman (Nancy) grabbed him and took him away saying that he was her lost
brother, he tried to get away, but he couldn't. They took him to Fagin's house and took
everything from him, clothes, money and books. Now Mr. Brownlow would think that Oliver
was a thief due to he never came back.
Capitulo 7: LA VERDAD ACERCA DE OLIVER.

MR Bumble, el encargado de la casa de asilo se encontraba en Londres por negocios, cuando

estaba leyendo el diario vio un anuncio que había puesto Mr Brownlow en el diario buscando
a Oliver Twist. El encargado fue a la dirección del Mr Brownlow y le dijo todo lo que sabia de
Oliver, que vena de una mala familia que era un niño malagradecido y violento.

Mr Brownlow estaba decepcionado y no quiso escuchar mas el nombre de Oliver Twist.

Chapter 7: THE TRUTH ABOUT OLIVER.

MR Bumble, was in London on business, while he was reading the newspaper he saw an
advertisement underneath was the name of Mr Brownlow. Mr Bumble went to Mr Brownlow's
house and told him all he knew about Oliver, that he came from a bad family and was an
ungrateful and violent child.

Mr. Brownlow was disappointed and did not want to hear Oliver Twist's name anymore

Capitulo 8: El robo

Después de estar encerrado varios días en la casa de Fagin, Oliver estaba listo para ganarse
el pan. Fagin le ofreció a Sikes a Oliver para que realizaran un robo a una casa que se
encontraba en el campo.

Cuando llegaron a la casa había otro hombre esperando, era Toby Crackit. Oliver les rogaba
que no lo hicieran robar, el no quería, pero los dos hombres lo metieron por una ventana
pequeña para que él les abriera la puerta, Oliver quería advertirle a la familia que dos
hombres querían robar, el no le tenia miedo a Sikes. De repente Oliver sintió un fuerte dolor,
confundido Oliver volvió a la ventana y escucho a Sikes gritar que Oliver estaba sangrando y
después Oliver no escucho nada más.

Capitulo 9. El secreto de la vieja Sally

Cuando la vieja Sally estaba débil y muriendo recibió una visita, era Mrs Corney , la señora de
la casa de asilo. La vieja Sally le confeso que ella atendió a la mamá de Oliver cuando llego a
la casa de asilo y que le había robado una joya de oro, luego de decirlo la vieja Sally murió.

Capitulo 10. Un encuentro con Monks.

Toby Crackit regresó a Londres para contarle a Fgin lo que habia ocurrido con el robo, que
todo habia fallado. Le comento que ellos habían alcanzado a escapar pero que le habían
disparado a Oliver y lo habían dejado abandonado en una zanja y que no sabían si estaba
muerto o vivo.

Fagin estaba muy enojado ya que Oliver valía mucho dinero para él. Así que echó a la calle a
Toby, cuando de repente ve llegar a Monks, ambos entraron a conversar casi susurrado,
Monks estaba molesto porque habían enviado a Oliver a robar esa casa, él solo quería que
Fagin lo convirtiera en un ladrón de calle como los otros niños.
