¿Te haces un lío con "hay" "había", "ha habido", "habrá", etc. en inglés?

Se acabó el problema porque te explicaré cómo aprenderlos para que no se te

olviden nunca.

Para aprender estas estructuras debes repetir cientos de veces en voz alta los
ejemplos que pongo.

Para saber cómo suenan estas frases puedes utilizar Google translator o Ivona,
solo tienes que poner las frases en el cajetín y escuchar.

Iremos de lo más sencillo a lo más complejo.

1) Presente
Este es fácil. Solo tienes que aprender que hay un "hay" para una sola cosa
(singular). Por ejemplo:

 Hay un ratón debajo de la mesa. There is a mouse under the table.

Y hay para más de una cosa (plural).

Por ejemplo:

 Hay dos ratones debajo de la mesa. There are two mice under the table.

Nota: El plural de "mouse" es "mice".

2) Pasado
Singular y plural diferentes.

 Singular: There was

 Plural : There were

Por ejemplo:

 Había una persona allí. There was a person there.

 Había varias personas allí. There were several people there.

Nota: El plural de "person" es "people".

3) Futuro
Singular y plural iguales.

 Habrá una persona allí. There will be a person there.

 Habrá varias personas allí. There will be several people there.

4) Condicional
Singular y plural iguales.

 Habría una persona allí. There would be a person there.

 Habría varias personas allí. There would be several people there.
5) Present perfect
Singular y plural diferentes.

 Singular: There has been

 Plural: There have been

 Singular. Ha habido una persona allí. There has been a person there.
 Plural. Ha habido varias personas allí. There have been several people
there.

6) Past perfect
Singular y plural iguales

 Había habido un accidente. There had been an accident.

 Había habido varios accidentes. There had been several accidents.

7) Con Should
Singular y plural iguales

 Debería haber más tiempo. There should be more time.

 Debería haber más árboles. There should be more trees.

8) Con Should have

Singular y plural iguales.

 Debería haber habido más tiempo. There should have been more time.
 Debería haber habido más árboles. There should have been more trees.

Nota: Ought (ot) es igual que "should".

9) Con Must
Singular y plural iguales.

 Debe haber más tiempo. There must be more time.

 Debería haber más árboles. There must be more trees.

10) Con Must Have

Singular y plural iguales.

 Debe haber habido más tiempo. There must have been more time.
 Debe haber habido más árboles. There must have been more trees.
11) Con Could
Singular y plural iguales.

 Podría haber más tiempo. There could be more time.

 Podría haber más manzanas. There could be more apples.

12) Con Could Have

Singular y plural iguales

 Podría haber habido más tiempo. There could have been more time.
 Podría haber habido más manzanas. There could have been more apples.

13) Con Might

Singular y plural iguales

 Puede que haya un problema. There might be a problem.

 Puede que haya muchos problemas. There might be many problems.

14 ) Con Might Have

 Puede que haya habido un problema. There might have been a problem.
 Puede que haya habido muchos problemas. There might have been many
problems.

Nota: "May" se utiliza del mismo modo que"Might
