Hello, my name is Nicole and my presentation is about a town in our country called Puerto Asis.

- Puerto Asis was founded on May 3, 1912, by Capuchin missionaries.

- Puerto Asis is located in the department of Putumayo, it is part of The Colombian Amazon
region.
- Puerto Asis is the town where I was born, it is the town where I grew up and it is fantastic.

- Puerto Asis has many beautiful places to go sightseeing, partying, eating and other things:
- That is the catholic church in the center of town.
- That is the main park of Puerto Asis.
- That is the Zona Rosa, the place to party.
- That is the Putumayo River, bordering the Amazon River.
- That is one of the best restaurants to enjoy the typical food of Puerto Asis.

- Those are some of The festivities celebrated in Puerto Asís:

1.the black and white carnivals.
2. The regatta, it is to go in boat or tire traveling several kilometers of the river.
3. The day of the water, where people come out to throw bags of water, among other
festivities.

- To go to my town you can travel by bus or by plane. If you travel by bus it takes 18 hours to get
there and if you travel by plane it takes 1:30 to get there.

Hola. Mi nombre es Nicole y mi presentación es acerca de un pueblo de nuestro país llamado
Puerto Asís.

Puerto Asís fue fundado el tres de mayo de 1912 por los misioneros capuchinos.

Puerto Asís queda en el departamento del Putumayo, hace parte de la región amazónica de
Colombia.

Puerto Asís es el pueblo donde yo nací, es el pueblo que me vió crecer y es fantástico.

Puerto Asís tiene muchos lugares lindos para turistear, ir de fiesta, comer entre otras cosas.

Esa es la iglesia católica que está en el centro del pueblo.

Ese es el parque principal de Puerto Asís.

Esa es la Zona Rosa, es el lugar para ir de fiesta.

Ese es el Río Putumayo, colinda con el río Amazonas.

Ese es uno de los mejores restaurantes para disfrutar la comida típica de Puerto Asís.

Una de las festividades de Puerto Asís son:

1.los carnavales de blancos y negros.

2. La regata, es irse en bote o neumático recorriendo varios kilómetros del río.

3. El día del agua, donde la gente salen a lanzarte bolsas de agua, entre otras festividades.

Para ir a mi pueblo puedes viajar por bus o por avión. Si viajas en bus te demoras 18 horas en
llegar y si viajas en avión te demora 1:30 en llegar.
