WILL (future simple)

El Will se usa para:

 Predicciones sobre el futuro (sin pruebas).

 Promesas, ofertas y avisos.
 Decisiones espontaneas.

Sujeto will infinitivo I will play

Sujeto won’t infinitivo She won’t sleep

Will Sujeto infinitivo ? Will you study?

BE GOING TO
El be going to se usa:

 Planes e intenciones.
 Predicciones sobre el futuro que están basadas en evidencias (pruebas).

PRESENT CONTINUOUS
El Present Continuous además de su sentido en presente también se usa para el
futuro. Se usa para el futuro cuando son planes o acuerdos (citas, se entiende de que
participan más de una persona que han quedado previamente) sobre eventos en un
futuro cercano.

I am seeing to the doctor.

PRESENT SIMPLE
El Present Simple además de su sentido en presente también se usa para el futuro
cuando son eventos fijados en un horario o calendario, donde suele ser el mismo para
todo el mundo.

The train leaves at 15:00.

FUTURE CONTINUOUS
El Future Continuous se usa para acciones que estarán en progreso en un momento
concreto del futuro, es decir, que todavía se estarán haciendo en ese momento.

Sujeto will be verbo-ing I will be playing

Sujeto won’t be verbo-ing She won’t be sleeping

Will Sujeto be verbo-ing ? Will you be studying?

FUTURE PERFECT
El Future Perfect se usa para acciones que ya se habrán terminado antes de otra
acción o momento específico del futuro.

Sujeto will have participio I will have played

Sujeto won’t have participio She won’t have slept

Will Sujeto have participio? Will you have studied?
