“RESUMEN DEL CUENTO “

EL PRINCIPE SAPO – THE FROG PRINCE

 EL PRINCIPE SAPO

Había una vez una princesa que se la pasaba jugando todos los días con su pelota en un
pozo que estaba cerca de su castillo ahí se quedaba jugando hasta que el sol se colocaba a
puesta. Un día sin querer estaba jugando cuándo de repente su pelota se cayó en lo más
profundo del pozo. La princesa asustada sin saber que hacer estaba intentando mirar dónde
quedó su pelota, pero de repente escuchó una voz muy cercana que la llamaba, ella miró a
su alrededor, pero no sabía quién era, la voz la seguía llamando hasta que le dijo que mirara
hacia abajo. Se dio cuenta que era un horrible y feo sapo que se encontraba en ese lugar.
Sin más pretexto le pidió que si le podía regresar su pelota, el sapo aceptó, pero a cambio le
pidió que se a su mejor amigo, la princesa le dijo que sí pero que se hacía tarde y necesitaba
regresar; el sapo corrió a buscar su pelota. Una vez entregada la princesa volvió a su
castillo olvidándose del sapo. Una noche después la princesa estaba cenando junto con el
rey y su familia cuándo de repente escuchó unos sápidos que se estaban acercando hacia el
comedor, ella corrió a observar cuándo de repente vio el sapo de aquél día. Cerro la puerta
y le explicó a su padre que era lo que estaba pasando, el rey le dijo que cumpliera su
promesa, la princesa no tuvo más remedio que dejarlo pasar y cenar esa noche con él. El
rey invitó al sapo a dormir en su castillo y pidió que le ordenaran el cuarto de huéspedes,
pero este no quiso si no que quería dormir con la princesa, ella no tuvo más remedio que
aceptar pero al entrar y al ver el sapo que estaba en su cama lo agarró y lo arrojó al piso de
su habitación. Instantáneamente la rana se transformó en un apuesto caballero, la princesa
no podía creer lo que estaba pasando en ese momento. Se hicieron amigos y años después
se casaron y vivieron felices por siempre. FIN.
 THE FROG PRINCE

Once upon a time there was a princess who spent her time playing every day with her ball
in a well that was near her castle, where she stayed playing until the sun set. One day she
was accidentally playing when suddenly her ball fell into the bottom of the well. The
frightened princess, not knowing what to do, was trying to look where her ball was, but
suddenly she heard a very close voice calling her, she looked around, but she didn't know
who it was, the voice kept calling her until she told her to look down. She realized that it
was a horrible and ugly toad that was in that place. Without any further pretext, she asked
him if she could return his ball, the toad accepted, but in return she asked him to be her best
friend, the princess said yes but it was getting late and she needed to return ; the toad ran to
get her ball. Once the princess was delivered, she returned to her castle, forgetting about the
toad. One night later the princess was having dinner together with the king and her family
when she suddenly heard some toads that were approaching the dining room, she ran to
watch when she suddenly saw the toad of that day. She closed the door and explained to her
father what was happening, the king told her to keep her promise, the princess had no
choice but to let him in and have dinner that night with him. The king invited the toad to
sleep in his castle and asked that the guest room be ordered, but he did not want to, but
rather wanted to sleep with the princess, she had no choice but to accept, but when she
entered and saw the toad that was in his bed he grabbed him and threw him on the floor of
his room. Instantly the frog transformed into a handsome knight, the princess couldn't
believe what was happening at that moment. They became friends and years later they
married and lived happily ever after. END.
