How is Christmas around the world???
I´m going to talk about Israel, a small country in Asia located in the
Middle East.
The capital of Israel is Jerusalem, the center of attraction for thousands
of pilgrims and tourists.
Israel has two official languages: Hebrew and Arabic.
The Israeli flag is made up of two horizontal blue stripes on a white
background, in addition to a six-pointed star, called the Star of David.
Israel's Christian history and tradition make it an icon of Christmas
celebrations in the world because here you can find all religions.
It is an amazing mix and there is not problem, cultures live all together.
In Nazareth and Jesusalem Christmas is also celebrated in a big way
One of the most popular dishes is falafel, a pita sandwish stuffed with
chickpea croquettes and a variety of salads.
The predominant religion is Judaism, then Islam and later Christianity .
The traditional dress of the Israelis are black clothes, among which the
kippah on the head, the tallit on the shoulders, and the tefillin on the
left arm and forehead stand out.
From December 02 to 09, Jews in Israel and around the world
celebrate the Hanukkah holiday, which commemorates the miracle of
the oil in the lamps.
Did you know that on Hanukkah, “sufganiot” are enjoyed, a kind of
sweet donut filled with jam?

¿Cómo es la Navidad en el mundo ???

Les voy a hablar de Israel, un pequeño país de Asia ubicado en el Medio Oriente.

La capital de Israel es Jerusalén, el centro de atracción de miles de peregrinos y

turistas.

Israel tiene dos idiomas oficiales: hebreo y árabe.

La bandera israelí está formada por dos franjas horizontales azules sobre un fondo

blanco, además de una estrella de seis puntas, llamada Estrella de David.

La historia y la tradición cristianas de Israel lo convierten en un ícono de las

celebraciones navideñas en el mundo porque aquí puedes encontrar todas las

religiones.

Es una mezcla asombrosa y no hay problema, las culturas conviven todas juntas.

En Nazaret y Jerusalén la Navidad también se celebra a lo grande

Uno de los platos más populares es el falafel, un bocadillo de pita relleno con

croquetas de garbanzos y una variedad de ensaladas.

La religión predominante es el judaísmo, luego el Islam y más tarde el

cristianismo.

La vestimenta tradicional de los israelíes son las vestimentas negras, entre las que

destacan la kipá en la cabeza, el talit en los hombros y los tefilín en el brazo y

frente izquierdos.

Del 2 al 9 de diciembre, los judíos de Israel y de todo el mundo celebran la

festividad de Hanukkah, que conmemora el milagro del aceite en las lámparas.

¿Sabías que en Hanukkah se disfrutan los sufganiot, una especie de rosquilla

dulce rellena de mermelada?
