Who's my Valentine?

Muestra a tus alumnos el texto con la historia y con las pistas. Si lo

prefieres, puedes hacerlo aún más divertido y llevar las pistas físicas en
lugar de enseñarles el texto. Si tu Valentine es Lucas, con en mi caso,
necesitarás los siguientes ítems:

-Una mochila naranja

-Un llavero con la letra L (puedes hacerlo con papel Albal)
-Un libro/revista de cocina
-Un recorte donde ponga "Happy 29th birthday, sweetheart. Love u. Mum"
-El ticket que te adjunto a continuación.
-Una pesa
-Un hueso de juguete

Aunque puedes elegir a cualquier personaje como tu Valentine y crear tu

propio texto o mostrar tus propias pistas, te recomiendo que mantengas a
Lucas, ya que muchas pistas se repiten en el resto de personajes para que
sea más complicado dar con él :) (por ejemplo, muchos tienen 29 años, su
nombre empieza por L, hacen deporte, son de Inglaterra...)

Una vez dicho esto, ya puedes imprimir tu tarjetas. Imprime tantas como
alumnos tengas y asegúrate de que tu Valentine está entre esas tarjetas.

Imprime también las plantillas para ir apuntando la información. De nuevo,

imprime tantas como alumnos tengas.

Reparte una tarjeta de personaje a cada
alumno y reparte también una
plantilla de respuestas.

¡EMPEZAMOS!
Los alumnos deben moverse libremente preguntando a sus compañeros y
recabando información:

What's your name?

How old are you?
Where do you live?
What's your job?
What's your hobby?
What's your favorite color?
Can you tell me more about yourself?

Puedes acabar el juego

de dos formas:
A. El juego acaba cuando un alumno es el primero en averiguar quién es tu
Valentine.

B. Das un tiempo límite (20-30 minutos) para que los alumnos recaben información
y una vez acabado este tiempo, los dejas estudiar sus pistas y les pides que anoten
en un trozo de papel quién creen que es tu Valentine.

EXTRA TIPS
Si les oyes hablando español, penalízales con un par de minutos sin poder
preguntar, (perderán tiempo para averiguar quién es el Valentine).

Avísales de que si descubren que el Valentine son ellos mismos (si el alumno que
tiene a Lucas se da cuenta de que todas las pistas concuerdan), NO PUEDEN DECIR
NADA HASTA EL FINAL Y TIENEN QUE ACTUAR CON NORMALIDAD!!

Last week, someone entered my office and left a love letter for me. It was such
a sweet message! But it was anonymous and I don't know who this person is! I
really want to meet this person face to face! I think we could get along pretty
well :)

Luckily, this person left a backpack and there were some items inside, so now I
need to find out who this person is with the helpf of the items of the backpack!

The backpack was orange and it had a key ring with a big silver "L" letter. Inside,
there was a cooking book. There was also a paper torn out of a notebook which
said "Happy 29th birthday, sweetheart. Love U. Mum." There was an old flight
ticket from England, a dumbbell, and finally, there was something quite curious!
There was a plastic bone!

Please, help me find my Valentine!

My Valentine is Lucas!! That's why the backpack is orange - his
favorite color - and it has a key ring with the letter "L".
He is a gym instructor, so he always carries some gym material
with him! He is 29 and he still keeps his mum's greeting card!
He's from Liverpool, so that's why the flight ticket is from
England.
His hobby is cooking, so he's learning more by reading the book.
Finally, he has got a dog. That's why he has a plastic bone! It's his
dog's toy! ;D
