Test rápido de antígenos SARS-CoV-2

Método: Inmunocromatografía

RESULTADO NEGATIVO

El test rápido de detección de antígeno detecta el antígeno de la proteína de la nucleocápside del SARS-CoV-2
al analizar muestras de las vías respiratorias tomadas mediante un hisopo nasofaríngeo.

Esta prueba tiene una menor sensibilidad que las pruebas moleculares como, por ejemplo, la PCR. Un resultado
negativo no excluye la infección por SARS-CoV-2 y debe ser interpretado por su médico en el contexto clínico y
epidemiológico del paciente ya que, al no descartar la presencia de la infección, si hay una sospecha alta de
contagio, se deben aplicar otras pruebas diagnósticas.

Un resultado positivo determina la presencia de antígenos de SARS-CoV-2 y debería evaluarse con un

especialista.

Esta prueba no está indicada como prueba de cribado para el virus SARS-CoV-2. Para una correcta

Rapid SARS-CoV-2 antigen test

Method: Immunochromatography

RESULT NEGATIVE

The rapid detection test detects the SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen by analyzing respiratory tract
samples obtained through a nasopharyngeal swab.

This test has a lower sensitivity than molecular tests, such as the PCR test. A negative result does not exclude
SARS-CoV-2 infection and should be interpreted by your doctor in the clinical and epidemiological context of the
patient since it is not dismissing the presence of infection, in case there is high suspicion of contagion, other
diagnostic tests should be applied.

A positive result determines the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus and should be evaluated by a specialist.

This test is not indicated as a screening test for SARS-CoV-2 virus. For the correct interpretation of the
