Dating Customs Around the World

Brazil
If you date a Brazilian, you should be prepared to receive a lot of compliments.
Non-Brazilians, the so-called "gringos", however, should refrain from flattering
Brazilian women too much, otherwise they would only get a quick flirt. In a
relationship, it is common in Brazil to show mutual affection in public. Family
plays a very important role in relationships. While in many other cultures,
meeting the couple's family means that the relationship becomes solid, it is
quite normal for the family to meet soon after the first meeting.

Translation:
Si tienen una cita con un brasileño, deben estar preparados para recibir muchos
cumplidos. Los no brasileños, los llamados "gringos", sin embargo, deberían
abstenerse de adular demasiado a las mujeres brasileñas, ya que de lo contrario,
conseguirían solo un flirteo rápido. En una relación, es común en Brasil mostrar

France
In France, a kiss basically means: from now on they are a couple. If a man is
interested in a French woman, he asks her out on a date and it is quite possible
that she will refuse. However, men should not give up, but should show serious
interest and ask again. Of course, this does not apply to any exchange of
affections, although the same thing happens in all countries of the world. In
principle, and especially in reality, the French are very direct. If you want to end
a relationship or just a date, use clear and concise words. Just not calling is not
enough in France.

hombre está interesado en una mujer francesa, la invita a una cita y es muy
posible que se niegue. Sin embargo, los hombres no deben darse por vencidos,

Russia
Russian dating traditions include very clear distributions of the roles of men and
women. Usually men bring small gifts to the date and bring flowers (necessarily
with an odd number of flowers). Women are very open about going out and
meeting men. There is no doubt that they have to pay the bill; women will feel
insulted on a date if they are asked to participate in it. The dress on a date is
definitely very chic and women often wear high heels.

del hombre y de la mujer. Por lo general, los hombres traen pequeños regalos a
la cita y llevan flores (necesariamente con un número impar de flores). Las
mujeres son muy abiertas en el tema de salir y conocer hombres. No hay duda
de que estos tienen que pagar la cuenta; las mujeres se sentirán insultadas en
una cita si se les pidiera que participen en ella. El vestido en una cita es
definitivamente muy chic y las mujeres suelen llevar tacones altos.
