La teoría de límites de una función es indispensable conocer, puesto que es la base sobre
la cual se dan los conceptos fundamentales del Cálculo Diferencial e Integral, por ello
es importante comprender correctamente lo que es un límite para poder entender con
mayor facilidad las definiciones de derivada e integral de una función.

- Análisis de la función f en x 1 :
Se observa que f (1) no existe, sin embargo el comportamiento de esta función
alrededor de 1 (en una vecindad de 1), excluyendo el punto 1, es exactamente el mismo,
y podemos describirlo del siguiente modo:
Para valores de x próximos al punto a 1 , con x 1 , el valor de f (x ) se aproxima a
L 1 ; cuando esto ocurre, se dice que 1 es el límite de f (x ) , cuando x tiende a 1:

- Análisis de la función g en x 0
En este caso se pude observar que g (0) 1 , es decir si existe, sin embargo el
comportamiento de la función en una vecindad de x 0 es distinto, ya que cuando nos
acercamos a 0 por la derecha la función g (x) se acerca a 1, pero cuando nos acercamos
por la izquierda, la función g (x) se acerca a 0, por lo tanto podemos decir que el límite
de g (x) , cuando x tiende a 0 no existe.

Límites Indeterminados:
Cuando se nos presenta límites indeterminados se deben tener en cuenta los siguientes
casos:
