process with the aim of finding solutions that improve teaching, the methodology used
that 73% of the children develop a high level of literacy while 27% develop a medium
level and 0% a low level. It was concluded that, in terms of visual and auditory memory,
most of the children presented difficulties in the use of movable letters to identify
vowels, letters of the alphabet or to form syllables and words, which prevented them
from reaching the high level. In relation to reading and comprehension of texts, the
children did not achieve the expected level since they presented difficulties when
reading aloud short texts with images, as well as when answering questions regarding
what was read. Finally, in the writing process, the children did not achieve the expected
level, because they presented difficulties when writing on their own initiative and in
their own way, as well as when transcribing texts and dictating words.
