Práctica 1: CARACTERÍSTICAS ELÉCTRICAS
DEL DIODO CON SEÑAL DE CD y CA.

OBJETIVO: El alumno armará los circuitos que le permitan obtener las
características eléctricas de diodos de Si (silicio), el LED o bien el diodo de
conmutación; con señal en CD y CA (con señal sinusoidal); como voltajes,
corrientes, resistencia interna y potencia de consumo. E interpretará las
mediciones realizadas con el multímetro y/u osciloscopio. También reportará los
resultados medidos en tablas y/o gráficas según lo indique el desarrollo.
MARCO TEÓRICO
1. Mayor costo: Los LED´s de lata brillantez necesarios para la iluminación general
son más costosas pero cada día van bajando el precio. En muchos casos hay que
sumar los drivers que tampoco son baratos.
2. Rendering de color: Los LED´s pueden variar ampliamente en el color aparente
(temperatura de color) y como afectar en color de los objetos y la gente en un
determinado espacio (rendimiento de color). la estabilidad es una potencial
limitante. Es preciso tener lámparas y luminarias de una sola marca y modelo para
disminuir drásticamente este problema.
3. Incompatibilidad en control. Debido al amplio rango de dispositivos, no todas las
lámparas LED son dimmeables y aunque pueden atenuarse muchas entregan
pobre desempeño. Hoy día es más factible comprar “sistemas completos” (módulo
LED, driver LED y dimmer LED) que aseguran compatibilidad.
4. Las desventajas del diodo LED son que su potencia de iluminación es tan baja,
que su luz es invisible bajo una fuente de luz brillante y que su ángulo de
visibilidad está entre los 30° y 60°. Este último problema se corrige con cubiertas
difusores de luz.
Estas son las distintas formas de analizar los circuitos con diodos:
Al punto de corte con el eje X se le llama "Corte" y al punto de corte con el eje Y
se le llama "Saturación".

1.4 Realizar la gráfica (VD vs ID), para cada uno de los diodos; considerando los
valores medidos en cada uno de ellos; tanto en polarización directa como en
polarización inversa, de acuerdo a los valores reportados en la tabla 1 y 2.
Preferentemente graficar en papel milimétrico, considerando el eje vertical para la
corriente del diodo (ID) y el eje horizontal para Voltaje del diodo (VD), tanto para el
diodo de silicio, como para el LED rojo o bien para el diodo de conmutación. No
omitir los valores medidos y ni las unidades en cada una de las gráficas.
