Future Continuous

Este tiempo verbal no se ha visto durante la ESO.

forma afirmativa

sujeto + will be + V-ing

This time next week, I will be lying on the beach. …estaré tumbada …
We will be having dinner when the film starts. … estaremos cenando …

forma negativa

sujeto + won’t be + V-ing

I won’t be studying in the library tonight. … no estaré estudiando …

Paula won’t be living in Spain next April … no estará viviendo …

forma interrogativa

Will + sujeto + be + V-ing

Will you be waiting for me at the airport? ¿Estarás esperándome …?

Will she still be working at 10 tonight? ¿Estará ella todavía trabajando …?

El Futuro Continuo se usa para hablar de acciones futuras que

ocurrirán durante un periodo de tiempo.
Don: I need to know all the arrangements. Can you phone me
tomorrow?
Judy: Yes, I’ll phone you tomorrow afternoon at about three.
Don: Oh, I’ll be out then. I’ll be playing golf. But I’ll have finished by
about five.

El Futuro Continuo expresa que estaré en mitad de hacer lo que sea.

En nuestro ejemplo, estaré en mitad de mi partido de golf. El partido empieza a la 1 y
termina a las 4,30, así que durante ese tiempo, por ejemplo a las 3, estaré jugando al golf.

El Futuro Continuo también se usa para indicar que una acción futura ha
sido planeada con anterioridad:
What will you be doing tonight?
I’ll be watching TV all night.
Bruce Springsteen will be playing at the London Calling Festival.

(casi equivalente a un be going to ... el tiempo para expresar “planes”)
