Afirmativa: sujeto verbo en pasado
Negativa: sujeto DIDN’T verbo en infinitivo

PAST CONTINUOUS:
Afirmativa: sujeto WAS / WERE verbo-ING
Negativa: sujeto WASN’T / WEREN’T verbo-ING
Interrogativa: WAS / WERE sujeto verbo-ING ?

(I-HE-SHE-IT: WAS # YOU-WE-THEY: WERE)

El pasado continuo y el pasado simple se usan juntos cuando una acción interrumpe a otra acción.
Usamos el pasado continuo para la primera acción.
Usamos el pasado simple para la acción que la interrumpe.
