mantengan a salvo.
y otra vez.
Humans have life cycles , just as other living things do . humans are mammals .Mammals are animals
that have hair and feed their young with milk . Like other mammals , humans start their life cycles as
eggs inside treir mothers .They grow and develop there for about nine months.
After birth , human babies are helpless. They need a lof of care . they need to be fed and kept, warm and
safe . babies must also be held , cuddled, and talked to . Otherwise , they may not develop or grow well.
Over time , babies grow and change .They come to look more like adults as their bodies grow bigger and
their arms and legs get longer. During this time, they are called children. They can talk and walk and do
some things that adults do.However, children are not able to reproduce.
As children develop , they become taller and stronger. Not all children grow at the same spped. Some
children may be shorter than their friends one year. Two years later , they may catch up or be taller than
their friends.
Babies and young children learn many thingsvery quickly . They learn to walk and run .They learn all
about the world and people around them. As children develop , they are able to learn more facts, skills,
and ideas.
Humans reach the next stage of their life cycles when they become adults. Adults are able to reproduce.
Human adults still change as the grow older . But they usually change more slowly than when they
werw babies and children.
Animals usually look like their parents. For example, a young grasshopper grows up to be an adult
grasshopper . A young grasshopper has many things in common with its parents . It has six legs and a
hard exoskeleton . It jumps through the air and eats plants. We say that these are the characteristics of
grasshopers. grasshoppers do not choose to havesix legs or an exoskeleton . They do not learn to jump
through the air or eat plants. grasshoppers inherit, or get, these characteristics from their parents.
Characteristicas like these are passed down from parents to children .
Humans are also like their parents. Many children look like their parents in some ways .
They may have long or short legs like their parents.A child may have a turned-up nose like her father or
freckles like her mother . Children may have the same eye color and hair color as their parents . children
inherit these characteristics from their parents.
however , humans do not inherit all of their characteristics from their parents. Often , humans learn new
characteristics . For example , you may know how to play the piano .So , one of your characteristics is
being able to play the piano . you dis not inherit this characteristics from your parents , even if they
know to play the piano, instead you learned how to od this .Characteristics.
