12. Energía Gravitatoria.

classes of energy
Primary energy shown by a system or a body when it is exposed to heat. Since energy is a physical
quantity, it is the energy transmitted between two bodies with different temperatures. It is a type
of energy that is in continuous transit and transformation into another type of energy since the
heat contained in a body does not remain constant and tends to seek equilibrium with the
surrounding universe.
2. Electric Energy
This is a type of energy created as a consequence of the difference of potential existing between
two points within a system, whether it is a small body or a power line of many kilometers.
The electrical energy in movement or electrical current is used for all kinds of uses in our days
since it can be transformed into other types of energy, such as heat or thermal energy, light
energy or light or mechanical energy.
3. Luminous or light energy
This is a type of energy that travels by means of waves and interacts with the materials that
surround it, allowing it to be perceived. It is a type of radiant energy that is transported in the
form of electromagnetic waves of different wavelengths.
4. Radiant energy.
Radiant energy is a type of electromagnetic energy capable of being transmitted through space
without any type of body to transport it. Types of radiant energy would be for example sunlight,
ultraviolet rays or X-rays.
Just like other types of energy, radiant energy can be transformed into other types of energy such
as heat or thermal energy, chemical energy, etc.
5. Chemical energy
Chemical energy is a type of energy that emerges from the faculty of a body or chemical potential
to be transformed by a chemical reaction, such as fire, so chemical energy would be a type of
potential energy based on the chemical structure of its molecules and not their position. All
bodies have chemical energy in their structure, determined by the position of the elements that
compose it.
It is a physical magnitude by which two bodies exert a force of repulsion or attraction between
them. Magnetism is a word that comes from the Greek Magnetikos or relative to the magnet. All
bodies possess some kind of magnetic energy, although there are some in which this force is easily
detectable, such as iron, nickel or cobalt.
It is related to magnets by the orientation of the electrons that compose it, so the more electrons
are oriented in the same direction, the greater its magnetic energy.
7. Wind Energy.
It corresponds to the energy created from wind currents in the atmosphere, i.e., it is the kinetic
energy presented by the air currents obtained from special devices for this purpose such as wind
turbines to obtain another type of energy, usually electric current or electric power.
8. Hydraulic Energy, Water Energy or Hydroenergy.
This is the type of energy obtained by taking advantage of the kinetic energy of moving water,
whether in rivers, reservoirs or marine currents. It is a type of renewable energy.
9. Solar energy.
The most abundant type of renewable energy in nature in which electromagnetic solar radiation is
used to generate electric or thermal current. To obtain heat, solar thermal collectors are used that
form a closed circuit with a fluid inside that, by capturing the heat provided by the sun, acquires
heat energy.
Relative energy possessed by a body proportional to its kinetic energy with respect to another
body or to its elasticity for an elastic body. It therefore expresses the ability of a body with mass to
do work.
It is determined that there are those energies that take advantage of the movement of other
bodies with more or less mass to generate another type of energy, either electrical or mechanical.
Among all of them we can determine that we can find hydraulic energy, wind energy, etc.
Type of energy that measures the capacity of a body or system to do work or be transformed into
another type of energy depending on its position. That is to say, a system or a body by the simple
fact of existing possesses potential energy that will be greater or smaller depending on where it is
located.
The gravitational energy is potential energy that will be a function of the gravitational force of
which it is the object, which in turn will depend on factors such as the mass of the body, the height
with respect to another body that has gravitational force such as the earth or what would be the
same as the height at which a body with mass is located with respect to the ground.
Elastic energy is a type of potential energy stored in an elastic body resulting from its deformation
caused by stretching or crushing. The energy accumulated by an elastic object is directly
proportional to the force applied to it. The elastic body possesses potential energy even without
being stretched, which increases when a force is applied to it.
The nuclear energy is obtained when dividing by means of the nuclear fission or to the union by
means of the nuclear fusion of the atoms that compose a body. It is used for the generation of
electrical energy in nuclear power plants, thermal energy or mechanical energy when used in a
controlled manner, although the applications of this energy also include war tasks when the
transformation is carried out in an uncontrolled manner.
Sound energy refers to that which is produced by the vibration of an object that vibrates the air
around it and whose movement and friction is interpreted by the brain as sound. Therefore it
comes from another type of energy called vibrational energy.
Photovoltaic solar energy produces electrical energy obtained through solar radiation provided by
the sun, which is transformed into devices called photovoltaic cells, which in turn are assembled to
form photovoltaic panels.
Ionic energy is used to determine and calculate electronic transactions. It refers to the minimum
energy required to extract the electron with the highest energetic strength from an element in a
gaseous state, transforming it into a monopositive ion in such a way that there is not electrostatic
interaction between the ion and the electron.
Biomass is a source of energy of organic, plant or animal origin that can be used to transform it
into energy.
Biomass is transformed through thermal, biological or chemical processes with which we obtain
products ready to be directly transformed into energy of some kind, such as pellets, biodiesel or
biogas.
