MAIN ASPECTS

 Podrá acceder a la explicación gramatical de los temas establecidos en la temática de esta guía, a través del video subido por el
docente a la plataforma virtual, al video enviado a través del correo electrónico y el grupo de WhatsApp.

 Para los estudiantes que no cuentan con datos suficientes para visualizar el archivo, se enviará la presentación de Power Point a
través de un mensaje de WhatsApp y un archivo de audio, para que puedan ver y escuchar la explicación de los temas gramaticales.

 Deberá observar el video de la explicación gramatical y tomar atenta nota de los conceptos básicos de la explicación, pues estos
conceptos serán usados en la totalidad del desarrollo de esta guía.

 En caso de que tenga alguna duda respecto a la explicación gramatical, deberá hacerla saber por los medios de comunicación
establecidos por el docente. (grupo de WhatsApp, correo electrónico institucional o Google Classroom) para poder hacer la tutoría en
una sesión síncrona.

 De igual forma, podrá acceder a diferentes sitios de internet, libros o demás plataformas, para buscar información suplementaria sobre
los temas gramaticales explicados a través del video.

GUIDE DESCRIPTION

Querido estudiante, en la presente guía de aprendizaje encontrará toda la información correspondiente a los temas que serán abordados en las
próximas dos semanas, a partir del día de hoy. La estructura de la presente guía es la siguiente.

1. Objetivos: En esta primera sección, encontrará los objetivos que van a ser alcanzados al terminar el estudio y análisis de la presente
guía.
2. Presentación: En esta sección encontrará la información acerca de la introducción y explicación del tema principal, o temas principales
que serán abordados durante las dos semanas. Junto con cada explicación de los temas, encontrará links con videos que tienen la
misma información que la expuesta de forma escrita.
3. Apropiación: En esta sección encontrará ejercicios prácticos en cualquiera de las habilidades utilizadas en el aprendizaje de la lengua:
habla, escucha, escritura, lectura y uso de vocabulario y gramática. Estos ejercicios son para ser desarrollados por el estudiante y
poder poner en práctica los temas abordados en la sección anterior. Estos ejercicios son solamente de práctica, no es necesario enviar
las respuestas al profesor.
4. Producción: En esta sección encontrará los talleres, actividades o tareas que deberá desarrollar y enviar al profesor al terminar el
estudio y análisis de la presente guía. Estos ejercicios pueden variar según la habilidad o habilidades a desarrollar. Pueden ser
ejercicios de producción oral o escrita, o de comprensión oral o escrita.
5. Webgrafía: En esta sección encontrará información referente a los diferentes recursos digitales que pueden ser utilizados para revisar
contenidos suplementarios de los temas tratados en la presente guía.
I. LEARNING GOALS

 Identificar y utilizar el tiempo Present Simple para hablar sobre temas relacionados con hábitos, rutinas y hechos generales.
 Construir oraciones simples utilizando el Present Simple y hacer y responder a preguntas relacionadas con este tiempo.
 Reconocer y utilizar los Adverbs of Frequency, para referirse a la frecuencia con la que realiza actividades rutinarias.
 Usar las Question Words en el tiempo Present Simple, para preguntar acerca de actividades cotidianas y hechos generales.
 Identificar los diferentes tipos de preguntas en inglés y responder correctamente con base en cada Question Word.
 II. PRESENTATION

1. PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

Present Simple Verb To Be

En la siguiente imagen podemos apreciar las formas del presente simple del verbo TO BE y sus contracciones.

Este verbo es una palabra que en presente tiene dos significados SER y ESTAR. Esto causa algunos problemas a los hablantes del español que
desean aprender inglés. Para ejemplificar sus dos 2 significados observa los siguientes ejemplos:

Ejemplo 1:
I am from Canada / Soy de Canadá

Ejemplo 2:
I am in Canada / Estoy en Canadá

Present Simple Most Verbs

El Presente Simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para describir acciones habituales que suceden con cierta frecuencia y no hace referencia
a si está ocurriendo en el momento actual.
Para conjugar el presente simple usamos el infinitivo para los sujetos “I”, “you”, “we” y “they” y para las terceras personas “he”, “she” y “it”,
añadimos una “-s” al final del verbo.

1. Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)

Sujeto + verbo.
Ejemplos:

I talk.(Yo hablo.)
He eats.(Él come.)
They learn.(Ellos aprenden.)

2. Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)

Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to do) + auxiliar negativo (“not”) + verbo.

Ejemplos:

I do not [don’t] talk.(Yo no hablo.)

He does not [doesn’t] eat.(Él no come.)
They do not [don’t] learn.(Ellos no aprenden.)

3. Interrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)

Verbo auxiliar (to do) + sujeto + verbo principal?

Ejemplos:

Do you talk?(¿Hablas tú?)

Does he eat?(¿Come él?)
Do they learn?(¿Aprenden ellos?)

2. FREQUENCY PHRASES

Los adverbios de frecuencia son palabras que se utilizan para decir con qué frecuencia o cada cuanto tiempo hacemos una acción, y son las
siguientes:
Ejemplos:

 I usually get up at 7 o’clock. (Normalmente me levanto a las 7).

 She is always interrupting me. (Ella siempre me interrumpe).
 You’re always complaining! (¡Siempre estás quejándote!).
 I’m very busy so I hardly ever have time to watch TV (Estoy muy liado, así que casi nunca tengo tiempo de ver la tele).
 Easter sometimes falls in March, but it usually falls in April (A veces, el domingo de Pascua cae en marzo, pero por lo general cae en
abril).

3. QUESTION WORDS

Las WH-Question Words son partículas interrogativas que utilizamos para hacer preguntas en inglés. Suelen causar mucha confusión a
principiantes ya que se escriben de manera muy similar [empiezan por wh- (.who, where) o contienen wh (HoW)]. Éstas son:

Ejemplos:

 Whose jacket is this? (¿De quién es esta chaqueta?)

  What is the capital of Argentina? (¿Cuál es la capital de Argentina?)
 What kind of clothes do you like? (¿Qué tipo de ropa te gusta?)
 What colour are her eyes? (¿De qué color son sus ojos?)
 Where is the museum? (¿Dónde está el museo?)

Los siguientes ejercicios tienen como objetivo interiorizar la información previamente analizada y poner en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos.

Como archivo adjunto encontrará un link con un documento de GOOGLE FORMS. En este documento podrá desarrollar el taller correspondiente
a todos los temas abordados en esta guía. Este taller se compone de 50 preguntas divididas en las siguientes habilidades: gramática y
vocabulario, escritura, comprensión de escucha y comprensión de lectura. Para poder acceder a este taller debe ingresar con su correo
electrónico institucional, de lo contrario no podrá tener acceso al mismo. Este taller solo podrá ser presentado una vez y al finalizarlo tendrá su
nota cuantitativa de los ejercicios que realizó correctamente. Recuerde que la duración máxima del taller es de tres horas, terminado este tiempo
la aplicación se cerrará y se guardaran únicamente los cambios efectuados.
