Para los diferentes momentos del día, meses, años y estaciones se utiliza la
preposición “in”
In the Afternoon – por la tarde

Y estas expresiones que utilizan at: (places) lugares; casa, escuela, temporadas. Hora.

Ejemplos:
Mary and David arrived late last night – Mary y David llegaron tarde anoche.
Peter usually wakes up early every morning – Peter, por lo general, se despierta temprano cada
mañana.
If you want to catch the 6 o’clock bus, you must leave earlier – Si quieres agarrar el autobús de
las 6, debes marcharte más temprano.
I am working right now. Please call me back later – Estoy trabajando ahora mismo. Por favor
llámame más tarde.
We are going to the concert, so we will see you then – Vamos al concierto, entonces te veremos
entonces.
I’m sure I’ve seen you before – Estoy seguro que le he visto antes.
Mr. Mills can meet you next week, or the week after – Sr. Mills puede encontrarle la próxima
semana, o la semana después.

Veamos en general otras frases que indican el tiempo de ocurrencia de un hecho y que te
servirán para expresar de forma correcta los detalles relacionados a un acontecimiento y que
van a complementan la idea que quieres dar.

Al igual que en español, en inglés, hay muchos adjetivos diferentes que nos sirven para expresar como nos sentimos en inglés. Una
forma práctica para aprender en vocabulario relacionado con las emociones es agrupar los diferentes adjetivos en torno a los 5
sentimientos básicos:
Happy – Feliz
Glad – Contento
Joyful – Alegre
Interested – Interesado/a
Proud – Orgulloso/a
Powerful – Poderoso/a, influyente
Optimistic – Entusiasta, optimista
