EJEMPLO:
I have a pet.
Yo tengo una mascota.
He has a daughter.
Él tiene una hija.
To have es uno de los verbos auxiliares en inglés junto con to do, to be y will.
Cuando "To have" funciona con el rol de verbo auxiliar carece de significado.

Para definir como se forma la interrogación hay que distinguir si el verbo "to have"
actúa como verbo auxiliar o no:
Oración Afirmativa:
You have eaten too much (tú has comido demasiado)
Oración Interrogativa:
Con una frecuencia muy elevada los pronombres personales y el verbo "to have" se
contraen:
you haven't
you have not
you've not
they haven't
they have not
Confusión "he's" puede ser o they've not
"he is" o "he has"
Desafortunadamente "he's"
puede ser o "he is" o "he has",
se tiene que determinar que
es un caso u otro por el
contexto. Lo mismo ocurre
con "she's"y "it's".

Have got
Los dos verbos “have” y “have got” (tener) indican posesión en inglés, pero la
estructura de cada uno es muy diferente. Estos dos verbos se pueden utilizar para hablar
de las relaciones, enfermedades y características. “Have” es más común en el inglés
americano, mientras que “have got” es más común en el inglés británico.
Observa que “have” tiene varios significados y usos.
Ejemplos:
I have got a car.(Tengo un coche.)
You have got two brothers.(Tienes dos hermanos.)
He has got a big house.(Él tiene una casa grande.)
She has got a cold.(Ella tiene un resfriado.)
It has got a ball.(Tiene una pelota.)
We have got brown hair.(Tenemos pelo moreno.)
They have got red bicycles.(Ellos tienen bicicletas rojas.)

Ejemplos:
Sujeto Presente Simple Have I got a car? (¿Tengo un coche?)
Have you got? Has he got a big house? (¿Él tiene una casa
you grande?)

EXERCISES:
PARTE 1: Escribe las siguientes frases en su forma afirmativa, negativa o interrogativa.
EXAMPLE:
Write the sentence in the negative: He has got a car
He has not got a car. OR He hasn't got a car. OR He’s not got a car.
