RESUMEN
In the following article we will review basic concepts of electrical circuits, their elements,
their classification, and formulas and units of each concept.
The electrical circuits are systems where electric current circulates, the elements of an
electrical circuit with the generator, receiver, conductive wire, control and protection
elements.
There are two types of circuits, in series and in parallel. A circuit in parallel the resistors are
placed parallel, in this way the electric current reaches all the resistors at the same time,
although the intensity of the current is greater by the resistor of lower value.
A resistor is an element that causes opposition to the passage of current, causing a voltage
difference (a voltage) to appear at its terminals.
The electrical power is the ratio of energy transfer per unit of time; that is, the amount of
energy delivered or absorbed by an element in a given time.
Keywords:
Circuit - resistor - power.
