Para aprender
del filo de la ausencia
pequeño surco de salobre esperanza.
Y entre el horizonte y el mar
la travesía.

Cronista siempre

Dylan Thomas /
Do not go gentle into that good night
Do not go gentle into that good night, No entres dócilmente en esa mansa noche.
old age should burn and rave at close of day; La vejez se quema y delira al final de día;
rage, rage against the dying of the light. rabia, rabia, contra la agonía de la luz.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Aunque los sabios al morir sepan que la oscuridad es lo correcto
because their words had forked no lightning they porque sus palabras no bifurcaron relámpagos,
do not go gentle into that good night. no entres dócilmente en esa mansa noche.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Los buenos, tras la última ola, se lamentan por cuán luminosamente
their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, sus frágiles sucesos pudieron haber danzado en una bahía verde;
rage, rage against the dying of the light. rabia, rabia contra la agonía de la luz.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, Los salvajes que atraparon y cantaron al sol en la huida
and learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, y aprenden, ya muy tarde, que se lamentaron en su camino;
do not go gentle into that good night. no entres dócilmente en esa mansa noche.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Los serios, cercanos a la muerte, que ven con mirada enceguecedora
blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, los ojos ciegos pueden arder como estrellas fugaces y ser felices,
rage, rage against the dying of the light. rabia, rabia contra la agonía de la luz.
And you, my father, there on the sad height, Y tú, padre mío, allí, en las tristes alturas
curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray. maldíceme, bendíceme, con tus intensas lágrimas, te ruego.
do not go gentle into that good night. No entres dócilmente en esa mansa noche.
rage, rage against the dying of the light. Rabia, rabia contra la agonía de la luz.
