Densidad: Es la masa de un fluido por unidad de volumen. Cuando el
fluido es gas, su masa se relaciona directamente con el número de
moléculas por unidad de volumen, la cual depende de la temperatura y la
presión.

Viscosidad: Relaciona directamente la facilidad con la cual un fluido

fluye en la tubería. La viscosidad frecuentemente está medida en
unidades de centipoise (cP) a una temperatura determinada normalmente
25 °C, cuanto más alto sea el valor de la viscosidad indica mayor
resistencia a fluir.

Measuring principle
Electromagnetic flowmeters measure conductive liquids and
slurries.

An electric conductor, in this case the electrically conductive

medium, passes through a magnetic field. The voltage U
induced in this medium is directly proportional to the mean flow
velocity v.
Magnetic induction B (magnetic field strength) and the distance
between electrodes D (nominal pipe diameter) are constant.
