Alix Louise Sauvage was born on September of 18 in 1973 with a congenital spinal
condition that inhibits the function of the lower half of the body.
She is an Australian Paralympic wheelcheir racer and free trainer. Louise is considered
to be the most recognized diasabled athlete in Australia. Won nine gold and four silver
medals at four Paralympic Games, also won eleven gold medals and two plant medals at
three International Paralympic Committee Althletics World Championship. Also won
four Boston marathons and has world records in the 1500 meter relay. She was an
Australian female athlete in 1999 and an international female wheelchair athlete of the
year in 1999 and 2000. In 2002, his autograph “Louise Sauvage: My story” was
published.
