UNIT 5: Affirmative and Negatives Statements
The interviewer in exercise 5 wrote a short article about Ray Mano , but she got five of
the facts wrong . Find ans correct the mistakes
El entrevistador en el ejercicio 5 escribió un pequeño artículo sobre Ray Mano, pero
obtuvo cinco de los hechos incorrectos. Encuentra y corrige los errores

Talk – show host and comedian Ray Mano work unusual hours. He gets up at
8:00 and goes directly to his studio. Mano loves his studio audience and always
talks to tem after each show.
Talk - show host y el comediante Ray Mano trabajan horas inusuales. Se
levanta a las 8:00 y va directamente a su estudio. Mano ama a su audiencia de
estudio y siempre habla con tem después de cada show.
The Nigth Show lasts a half – hour. After the taping, Mano goes home and
Works in his garaje on the cars and motorcycles that he collects. He then writes
screenplays for two hours. At midnight, Mano and a groud of writers meet in his
kitchen for three hours. There they plan the next show. At 4:00 A.M. Mano calls
it a day goes to bed for a whole four hours. The life of a comedian is no
laughing matter!
The Nigth Show dura media hora. Después de la grabación, Mano se va a su
casa y trabaja en su garaje con los autos y motocicletas que recoge. Luego
escribe guiones por dos horas. A medianoche, Mano y un grupo de escritores
se reúnen en su cocina durante tres horas. Allí planean el próximo espectáculo.
A las 4:00 a.m. Mano dice que un día se va a la cama durante cuatro horas. ¡La
vida de un comediante no es cosa de risa!
