1. The deontology or duties of a profession are reflected in the ethical or ethical codes. The
intention of drafting the codes of ethics of each profession is to explain the strictly moral
dimension of a profession, those behaviours required of professionals, regardless of whether
or not they are fully aligned in the legal norms.
2. Deontology therefore means the ethics of practical duties, based on the free action of the
person and his moral conscience, and not on legal regulation.
3. Deontology is both an art (a lifestyle) and a science (knowledge of the purposes of seeking
to aspire to ethical purposes). We could consider it an art because it requires, like all art, the
exercise of qualities, of virtues (areté). We consider it a science, because it requires
knowledge of what are the maximum goods to which we must aspire (axion). Here we find
again the trilogy: virtue, courage and duty.

Promote the studio of the deontology in universities.
The absence of the education of the deontology like one of the fundamental and basic matters in
the universities has caused that the majority of the students or graduates of said institutions learn
it with the step of the time and, in some occasions, already incorporated to the labour market,
what means that maybe they are it learning or comprising of an erroneous way.
Big part of this problematic is due to the fault of attention for the creation of codes of the
deontology for each profession or of the matter like such; subtract them importance to the
classes of ethical by the different educational authorities or of the attendants of the plans of
studio of each one of the institutions, definitely, is a problematic grave which has to be attended
to the possible shortness.
The educational authorities have to understand that the education of the ethical is intimately tied
with the same profession, since when graduating of the university the professionals confront to a
reality for which maybe are not prepared and that the university did not prepare them, what does
that his personal interests applies to the social profit.
One of the aims of the university education is to attain that each one of his students develop the
bases of an ethical professional, what will allow them purchase values, like the loyalty to his
work, profession and to the society, but, especially, have to be able to establish relations of
respect and collaboration with each one of the people with which relates .
The ethical formation that has to impart in each one of the so much public universities like
private has to have like end the formation of citizens with criterion, that is to say, citizens with
the capacity to recognise the different possibilities to the moment to confront a problematic,
already was in the labour or social field.
