INTRODUCCIÓN
ABSTRACT
Naturally, one of the main objectives of supermarkets is to satisfy the needs of their
customers; among those needs is that of being well attended by the employees in
each of the critical points within the warehouse (market corridors, cash registers,
bathrooms, meals). For the case that applies to this document, we will study the
influence that the extension of the rows in the supermarket "El líder" has on the
customer service provided to buyers and how this affects the final shopping
experience.
It is imperative to use a theoretical support to guide and support the research study
to be carried out, for this will be used as a central axis the Colas Theory, theory
applied specifically to the analysis and control of the rows within a system, and
elements of complementary sciences to the case as research and operations,
systems theory and control theory. Given the existence of the current problem,
which is that queues take a long time and therefore break down a number of
consequences, including a deterioration in customer service provided, the overall
goal is to improve the fluidity and speed of the queues accumulated in the cash
registers, point that is final in the purchase process.
