Aux. “Going to”

El uso de "going to" para referirse a eventos futuros sugiere un vínculo muy sólido con el
presente. El momento preciso no es relevante, es posterior al ahora, pero la actitud
implica que dicho evento depende de algo que sabemos sobre la situación actual. "Going
to" se emplea sobre todo para hablar de nuestros planes e intenciones, o para realizar
predicciones basadas en evidencias actuales. En el discurso cotidiano, "going to" suele
acortarse como "gonna", especialmente en inglés americano, aunque nunca se escribe asi.

Time Adverbs
Los adverbios de tiempo son aquellos que señalan un momento temporal, estos suelen
colocarse al final de frase. Nos indican cuándo se desarrolla una acción, su duración y
frecuencia. Suelen colocarse al final de la frase, aunque pueden colocarse al principio para
enfatizar la oración.

Examples:
 Tomorrow
 Next + day (or an specific day)
 Next + month (or an specific month)
 In + Number + (day(s) / month(s) / hour(s) / minute(s) / second(s)
 Etc…

Formulas:
Affirmative: (+)
Subject + Verb to-be + Going to + verb simple + Complement + Time adverb
Examples: (Regular Verbs)
I am going to listen to music next week.
She is going to play videogames tomorrow.
We are going to walk in the park next month.

Negative: (-)
Antepón la forma correcta del verbo to-be y el adverbio not, luego colócale
el auxiliar Going to al verbo principal de la oración, en este caso se escribe el
verbo en su estado simple debido a que como está el auxiliar presente en la
oración, se sobreentiende que está en tiempo pasado, así:

Subject + Verb to-be + Not + Going to + Verb Simple + Complement + Time Adverb

Examples:
I am not going to eat hamburgers tomorrow.
You are not going to play soccer next Saturday.
She is not going to watch TV in 3 days.
