The Solar System is a small part of the Universe, located in the Milky Way galaxy.

The Sun is a star (it emits light and heat), it is at the centre of the Solar System. (El Sol es una estrella, emite luz y

• Atmosphere: all the air that surrounds the Earth.

• Hydrosphere:all the water found on and above the Earth.

• Geosphere: the hard part of the Earth (continents).

The Earth´s rotation (Movimiento de rotación)

- The Earth rotates on its axis. (La Tierra gira sobre su propio eje)

The Earth´s revolution (Movimiento de translación)

- The Earth orbits the Sun. (La Tierra da vueltas alrededor del Sol)
